LSU just got 4 runs with 2 outs in the top of the 13th. Still two outs and a man on 2nd. If they hold off A&M in the bottom of the inning then we somehow found a way to make it to Hoover.
I didn’t think we had a shot earlier in the year. We still aren’t a good team and Butch has his hands full this offseason figuring out the bullpen.
ETA: LSU ends up scoring 6 runs that inning, all with two outs. Score is 12-6 now. Don’t screw this up LSU.

But we can hit, and that helps when you play in the last 3 series of the year most of the worse teams in the league.
And our pitching...starting has mostly been fine... but still our relief pitching has gotten a little better...
I know the guys feel good about getting to play on, and that's all you can want for them...It's not about not working hard...which this team has shown all year to their credit...

Unfortunately Hoover is not a hitter friendly field. You have to really crank one to get it out of the park.

We got guys that can crank it. It’s going to be hot this week in Birmingham which means the ball is likely to fly. Unfortunately we just don’t have the bullpen to play long into the tournament

Just have to hope the starters can last late and the bats can give us enough run support to overcome our pen.

This is going to be key. Guys are going to have to figure it out if they’re struggling. We can’t have starters going 2-3 innings.

I’d imagine AU will through Joseph Gonzalez in game 1 and hope to sneak by. I don’t see Jack Owen pitching on 4 days rest.

Yeah if I’m Butch I’m risking it game one with someone like Gonzales who solid but not my best and hope to get by so you can make a little noise.
