Don’t think we even offered him out of high school. But we should aggressively pursue him if he can play next year

From what I read on QB Rogers, he had a horrible knee injury his SR year in HS, and had a setback after his rehab.
Then after he was good to go, he struggled according to coaches to understand reading defenses and being consistent throwing the ball.
I know we need a QB, but I would rather have a guy who is transferring that just wants to be maybe in the SEC, and understands he backing up a QB that started as a FR, and will more than likely be the starter the next 2 years barring injury or total collapse.
Rogers doesn't fit that role to me, or want that role.
I like Jones idea, just work hard to get a top level QB out of 2021, and make sure Sandberg works hard to be a solid backup, and bring in a JC QB or transfer to compete for #2.

4* DE Jay Hardy is officially down to Tennessee and Auburn. Announcing Wednesday.

Other news, Auburn makes Webb’s top 5. KN says he should be at the UGA game.
Auburn is chipping away at Zykevious Walker. Still a very long shot but Walker said he doesn’t have a leader.
