Auburn has pulled their offer to Cohen. They will not send him papers to sign on ENSD
I’m liking this relatively new recruiting approach. Sucks to lose blue chip recruits (especially at a position of great need) but we’re cutting our losses and moving forward. If you’re committed to us, fantastic. But if you start wavering and playing games, adios

Let’s cap off this new recruiting style by firing our o line coach

As the days pass, I get more and more concerned PawPaw is staying of the coaching staff. Maybe we are just waiting until after ENSD to “transition” him to an off the field position. I’m also concerned that if we do replace him, we hire Chad’s OL coach from Arky. Don’t want that guy

I’d be fine transitioning to Simmons. I see anything that suggests Grimes is going anywhere. I thought he’d see this senior OL into the sunset

Any college coach who doesn't take OL, OTs in particular, in volume is just being negligent.

If I had to guess, the reason for not signing a ton of OL is these SEC coaches are trying to grab the high profile play makers that come from the south. Just my opinion of course.

Recruiting is a major part of Grimes job and he has been rather terrible at it. Why are we holding onto him?

Maybe Auburn has finally learned its lesson fricking around with these battles with "Alabama". I would not doubt a bit that they have been behind some of the delayed signings.

And i am not a black helicopter guy

Some of the best writers have heavily implied that Gus is very involved in OL evals and recruiting #s etc. Seems like we regularly strike out on top OL targets and then are too late on next tier guys we could have had early

Grimes may not be a great recruiter but it seems like there is recruiting strategy problems that only makes it worse

In fairness to Grimes the fact that we are still in it with Broderick Jones and Micah Morris is a good sign.. Maybe we are starting to figure something out... I doubt it, but maybe lol.

New QB name to watch is Gregory Spann from Florida.

I like JB, reminds me of Hank Hill from King of the Hill and his one-liners lol, but not sure if that’s relating to this day and age recruits.

Why are we so against Cord? He is a solid backup. We will not find a talented QB that is willing to set the bench. Let's just hold for Aaron.
Gus prefers to have at least 4 schollied QBs on roster at all times.

Spann’s senior stats:

1,937 yards passing 25 TDs, 8 INTs. 847 rushing yards, 10 TDs, 100 carries

Big kid and looks fast. Utah just offered. Chad Morris is visiting him today

No. Casher is the most recent one I remember.
