Are Flax and Zierer both projected at left tackle, Hamm and Troxell at right? I know Zierer and Troxell have some healing to do, but just curious about the position (I see in the films Flax is playing right tackle).
Per 247 last week Trox is progressing well but has moved to LT because the staff expects Bro-Hamm to anchor RT. I imagine since Flax is an EE ready to go he will start out competing at LT. We probably won't know about Zierer til he is healed & ready to go in the Fall.

FSU fan at work said Dilly Dilly is about to steal Chayil Garnett. Any truth to that?
No. Per 247 Dilly will not recruit any recruits he landed for AU.

He also doesn't understand just how little losing Dilly means.

Not to freak anyone out. But we have the ingredients for a productive OL next year.

Yeah... I actually think the OL for the next year or two should be okay... beyond that it’s a concern. It’s why we need good high school guys now... for 3 years down the road.

Yeah Gus fricked up the last few years by not taking several o-lineman each class — a position that constantly needs to be re-supplied with big bodies.

Next year our first 5 games *shouldn’t* necessarily overwhelm the o-line, but provide enough of a challenge to make them better before getting into the teeth of the SEC schedule:

vs Alcorn St
vs UNC
@ Ole Miss
vs Southern Miss
vs UK

After that shite gets real w/UGA and TAMU back to back.

We’re solid at guard. With the incoming freshmen we have 8 guys there

Tackle is ridiculous, though. It’s hard to look at

The NFL has trouble evaluating college OTs who have high level S&C + game film. It is nuts to me why any college coach thinks they can evaluate HS kids well.

Any college coach who doesn't take OL, OTs in particular, in volume is just being negligent. The rate of poor evaluations + injuries effectively requires it

As well as our unheralded QB commit Chayil Garnett.

Who, despite how good or bad people think he is, has become important to hold on to just so we have depth at the position now that Morris and Criswell are all but out.

I wonder if we just try to find a transfer or if we just give up on taking a 2nd QB this year and use that spot for another position since numbers are so tight for this class.

Why are we so against Cord? He is a solid backup. We will not find a talented QB that is willing to set the bench. Let's just hold for Aaron.

Because he would get killed against any defense with a pulse. Nothing against him personally, he's a good guy to have in the locker room, but he doesn't have a strong enough arm to throw against good defenses.

Disagree. It is a different O, but in the current climate of CFB, we wont have a talented QB as backup.

Per 247-

Auburn has pulled their offer to Cohen. They will not send him papers to sign on ENSD

They’re confident with Flax. This comes after a auburn visited 5* OT Broderick Jones at his school today. Jones will OV to Auburn and wait to sign until February

Was Seastrunk the last time Auburn legit pulled an offer? This doesn’t happen often
