KN said something to this effect as well. Princely?
Don't think so. I think he would be a SDE for us & in a post from Keith a week or so ago Keith made it sound like AU liked some others a bit better.

Can you remember the buck targets that have visited recently?

I’m sure the confidence in getting the mystery recruit was spawned somewhere.

No but I can tell you the known Buck targets.

Romelo Height - Miami commit (Supposedly having a big SR season.)
Yaya Diaby - He's a bit bigger than Princely so I guess Princely may be a buck target too

A coach on the bunker said this about Flax FWIW...

quote:

Their new head coach is a personal friend and a hell of an offensive line coach, this kid will already have great fundamentals when he shows up on campus.

He has 3 to play 3 per JLee

Can we hire their HC as our OL coach then?

I’m not concerned with pulling off one offs, I want to consistently compete and we won’t with our OL recruiting. I mean USC beat UGA, I guess all is well over there right

Gus is 3-4 against Bama.

Hard to call that a one off

I scoured the 247 player rankings trying to figure it out but was clueless. Would Trenton Simpson play Buck? I'm one of those who still thinks there's a chance there. But I don't necessarily know enough about the position to know what type of player would play there.

Another top OL going to UGA may not help UGA beat us but it doesn’t help us beat UGA either.

Not sure why that’s a tough concept for people to understand and I’m not sure what Bama has to do with it either

I’ve voiced my frustration with that.

Doesn’t change the fact that you said “one off”

We’ve beat Bama 3 times.
He’s beat UGA twice
He’s beat LSU twice.

That’s 7 wins vs a one off win. I just get tired of exaggeration around here.

So 7 wins out of 22 tries, don’t know about you but I’d like to do better.

ETA: I give Gus props for how he’s fared against Bama but he’s lost to some very very beatable LSU and UGA teams multiple times

Valid point. Ask the average football fan from outside the SEC to name the top four teams, they would say, not in any order, Alabama, LSU, Georgia, and Florida.

Now where do we rank in recruiting in the SEC....hmmm. And why havent we been higher....OL.

Pile on Savage all you want, the boy does have a point.

Nope. He was a LB target all the way.

Point was he was melting for no reason but that's what Randy does sometimes.

True but there was no reason for your all future is lost type post. The Bama win statement was an example of that. Yes we have a good bit smaller margin for error than our Rivals but we can beat every team we play, especially with some minor tweaks.
