So can’t be the kicker from Troy I guess.

Unsure if this is what KN had in mind but it looks like a long snapper has “committed”. Preferred walk-on.

But definitely not a K/P

Edit: KN never said it would be a K/P, just that it wasn’t the K/P from Thompson. Which keeps the kid from Troy in play

No more dead period. Thank God. Somehow Bama made a “strong push” for Hardy during it, but they have their own set of rules we all know that.

We have 22 signees now.

Sign during NSD the following and let’s praise Gus’s recruiting greatness until the Good Lord drives the heathen Bammers and the Cajun Pagans out of our lands:

23: Hardy
24: McKinley Jackson/ Burks
25: Brod Jones
26: Frazier/ Troy kicker.
27: QB clipboard holder

If we don’t get Jackson I think we end up taking Butler along with Burks. A QB seems unlikely at this point.

Why can’t we open up the checkbook for Malik Hornsby

J Lee says Bickell and Porter are visiting Brod Jones today. Porter is the one that laid the ground work early on. We are hoping it goes well between Brod and new OL Coach today.

J Lee is hearing the final number is 25-26 which isn’t what KN is hearing.

Auburn’s 2020 class average player rating went up slightly to 91.06 after the Buskey departure.

Still number 8 in the country, 6th in SEC.

KN says we likely finish in 7-10 range.

I doubt checkbook is an issue.

KN says we’re getting a K/P commitment tonight.

Preferred walk on and it’s not Evan McGuire.

So Ellitor that means if we get Jackson we will also take Burks and forego a QB?

Either scenario would be an excellent close to the DL this year.

I don't think we take another QB period.

Speaking of QBs, one of the first guys Morris contacted after the dead period is ‘21 3* QB Will Crowder. He’s going to visit Feb 1st

He doesn’t have an offer but, IMO, he’s the perfect QB to have along side McLaughlin.

Crowder threw for 2600 yards and 22 TDs at Gardendale. What continues to stand out about him is that he’s pretty polished. 70% completion rate and he’s got a big arm

Not forego. There just doesn't seem to be any quality QBs we can attain at this point. It's a moot point anyway. MJ gave an interview on his top 5 at the All Star event in San Antonio in the beginning of January & AU wasn't mentioned.

I doubt it's high right now, at least not high enough for him to not choose college. He's not in the top 100 prospects on MLB.com nor the top 50 high school prospects on D1Baseball.com.
