ESD Thread | Pegues, Tisdol, Height, & Reed to AU!Auburn is heavily recruiting ‘20 6’7, 240lb TE Brandon Frazier. He’s OV’ing Jan 17. KN says he’s a take and Auburn is on him hard

Who is our biggest threat for him? Top 4 of Bama, Arky, AU, and Ttech. Bama has 4 4* TEs on roster already, Arkansas is a dumpster, I don't know anything about Ttech… I like our chances?

I know this isnt saying much, but I believe Arky had a higher rated OL class than us before Chad was fired.

I think the issue is defining our TE. We seem to have a few different types on the roster. We have prototypical TEs like Deal, Fromm, and Shenker. Then there’s guys like JJ Wilson who is more of a HB/TE. That’s where Pegues will fit in.

Watching his highlights he plays 90% of snaps in the backfield at HB so that could benefit us. I don't see him playing the backfield in college though. Probably would be like SAL or WIlson split out.

I would assume Kendall Simmons just gets promoted.

Don't think so. He has no experience coaching OL, and he's never recruited either. He's just getting started in his coaching career.

With our OL problems AU would look more for as good as an OL coach they could find and a good recruiter which JB was not.

I was afraid(not saying he would be a bad hire) Dustin Frye would be 1st in line since he coached under Morris at Clemson, SMU and ARK and played at Clemson and in the NFL so he has southern recruiting experience.

I just don't know his recruiting resume, and his strengths as an OL coach.

But he would be the safest and most comfortable hire.

Bama. They missed on Washington and Pegues so they still want a TE in the class.

Put this shite in a different thread dude. A lot of information is coming out about Grimes and everything else, but keep the recruiting thread restricted to recruiting. I’ve worked on it. You can too.

Shouldn't. He's always maintained relationships are what's going to win him.

Oh I know. Once these cats get off on a tangent it's hard to get them off it.

Headed to the fighting Coneheads of Jeremy Pruitt at VockyPepps. Word is he is also suing UGA for losing a finger.

I know UGA has stacked OL talent but dang they are losing a lot this year. Good Deal.

I really hope we can close out strong on Bro. Jones. I'm hoping he see's all that's going on at UGA as a sinking ship and heads over to the good guy!

UGA has a feel of 2014 Gus. Coming off a ton of momentum, they cant seem to capitalize. In their greatest run the past 40 years, they have 1 SEC title to show for it. They will never win and I would hammer that home if I were recruiting against them.

As of today, KN likes Auburn’s chances of landing Burks and Frazier. Too close to call on Jones and McKinnley.

And there’s no clear word on the total # we’ll take. Auburn doesn’t want that known
