Hopefully he'll see the light, it's bad enough losing the kids we used to get from GA to Clemson. Can't start losing ones from Alabama too.

Better Clemson than Bama though.

As long as Saban in there bama is going to get theirs whether they are from Alabama or wherever, we have to secure the Alabama kids who aren't Alabama locks.

I think he’s referencing Ross & EJ

Not necessarily, especially with UGA going national in their recruiting & leaving the talent rich state of Georgia open a good bit.

Nope. EJ Williams has been All Clemson since they offered. That's who the OP was referring to when he said already lost 1 WR to them & about to lose another (meaning WR).

In retrospect it sounds like you are referring to Ga'Quincy instead of EJ.

Yea, forgot about EJ. Don't care we are fine at WR. Need Ga'Quincy though.

Looks like Bama will get their 5* TE.

Ole miss should be our biggest threat contending for Pegues.

I think Simpson sticks but UNC making noise this year was always the threat to watch. He gets a ton of pressure to stay in state

...AND Mack Brown has them excited, and him trying to be cool w/ the players is getting them interested.

playing Clemson till the end, and trying to win it helps their momentum...and bleed over into recruiting...

Losing to App State? Mack is an old man, I don’t get any recruit buying what they’re selling.

Seriously who would you want to spend 4 years - Twill or Mack Brown

It's apparently abigger deal than that. Supposedly he's under a lot of pressure to stay in state.

Meh, North Carolina, the state, doesn't care about football much. I doubt the pressure is that big of a deal.

So? You forgot how he almost knocked off #1. It's what have you done for me lately...

ANd he's the same age as Nick Saban...so old man?

I didn't say he would sustain success, but if he is selling state, his resume...then they have the best chance to keep in state top recruits...

I want the guy too...but some guys like to be part of a rebuilding program w/ a well liked coach.

Pegues told Rivals today that AU still leads. He's leaning towards committing & signing on the same day in December.
