Not long ago this would have sent me into quite the rage.

Now I just laugh.

I don't know if it's me getting older and wiser and not caring as much what these kids do or if Gus has just broken me and always has me expecting the worst.

if you think any coach could have stopped what happened today, you are just crazy. That kid was a liability since the beginning just like others we have had committed to us in the past who acted the same way

I know everyone was wanting the recruiting bump but honesty, we have not done well with his type. It was a bigger lose on paper and to the emotions of some here that it was on the field. We are good at WR and will be for a while.

There are more important things than losing that guy

As much as Pickens is a little turd, you gotta admit that "We've got to get back to running the ball!" ain't an exciting selling point to the best WRs in the country.

Yeah man, but there's been a ton of positive signs too. Him and Nix have had a good relationship for a good two years now. Seemed like it was going to be a huge get for AU.

Yeah that’s the thing, it seemed like every time he would do some weird stuff, those close to him like Nix and Pappoe would basically laugh it off saying he was trolling. I’m not shocked, but it sucks.

Like Randy said, a few years ago this would have ruined my day. Now I chuckled.

I will go on record that I told you guys this 4 weeks ago. I also said this is a good thing. George won't be in college long. No way Gus puts up with his shite. He probably should have went to Bama and Saban tho. Hoover did everything in their power to get him a D average

ETA:

I am rustled about our OL way more than Duke Williams 2.0.

Sounds like a last minute "business" decision.

We never should have put in the effort we did on him. I know he is talented but there was a very slim chance he would ever contribute. Just too many bad flags.

Until GusShortBus is gone, expect to be disappointed. Not only on the field, but also the recruiting trail

Oh without a doubt. I still had little faith Gus would turn him into a first rounder or anything and it’s the one position we’ve actually recruited well. But it was a good bump in recruiting and he has a ton of potential. Plus it sucks to lose him to UGA. I really wouldn’t have cared about Miami, but a team we see every year sucks.

The most critical "gets" of the day to me now are (in order) Bell, Richards, Moore, Henry.

I watched all of Hoover's games this year. GP and RA were terrible team mates. And they folded against equal talent. Tua's little bro made them look like bitches. Outside of the perception, we dodged a bullet.

Imagine being Pappoe. Your buddy invites you to be on camera, then just blind sides you. I'd be mad as hell.

I can't disagree with this from my own perspective either.

As I said above, if Pickens INVITED Pappoe for that shite, that's some low-character BS.
