FYI State 247 site reporting Moorehead is meeting with Moore today and there's a chance he visits MSST instead of LSU this weekend

Gus is currently visiting Henry
Let's hope brought a big enough check

And its solely because they are doing the signing day special for subscriptions. To make sure you "think" you're getting your moneys worth.

Kamaar Bell won't be making a return trip to FSU like he said he might. He's going on an OV to Indiana with Ira Henry

Will Indiana have thawed enough for them to even visit?
Posted on 1/31/19 at 11:55 am to TigerPaw1
So it sounds like they’ll both play together for sure. Hopefully we get them

Yeah I didn't realize they were that close

WR La'Michael Pettway --> Decision not coming until March but KN thinks as of now it's likely he lands with AU to fill Slayton's old role
Best part of this is a decision not coming until march imo. The only way we should take this guy is if Pickens doesn't come to Auburn. We have multiple guys who would be ahead of him on the depth chart.. If we take him over a GT OL I'm writing Gus a damn letter.
Also. does the news about Mizz help us with anyone? I don't think we're really chasing after the same guys. Chance Kelly Bryant can transfer again?

It could mean, they know they're going to FSU, so this is just a free trip for them to hang out together....

You could replace FSU with several schools and that statement still makes sense

It could
Or it could mean they are both going to AU too
Or it could mean they discover a shared love for Bloomington
It could mean a lot of things. What it for sure does mean tho is Bell won't be back in Tallahassee. If that happened it would be game over imo

I was curious to why they would be interested in IU so I looked up their OL coach and dude is a beast!
• With the University of Nevada in 2012, the Wolfpack’s rushing attack finished seventh in the country.
• Hiller’s 2014 offensive line ranked third nationally with just 3.4 tackles for loss allowed per game.
• From 2013-15, Hiller coached the offensive line at the University of Cincinnati. Behind the top three offensive campaigns in school history, the Bearcats won the 2014 American championship and appeared in three bowl games.
• Cincinnati set 18 program offensive records in 2015, including total offense (6,690), passing yardage (4,679) and first downs (370). The Bearcats ranked sixth nationally in total offense and averaged 33.8 points per game.
• UC produced over 5,900 total yards, 3,900 passing yards and 2,000 rushing yards each season during Hiller’s tenure.
• A 24-year coaching veteran, Hiller spent 2016 as co-offensive coordinator, run game coordinator and offensive line coach at the University of South Florida.
• Coached 18 players who went on to the NFL, including tackle Kofi Amichia, a sixth round selection by the Green Bay Packers in the 2017 NFL Draft.
• The USF offense ranked fourth nationally in scoring (43.8), fifth in rushing (285.3) and 11th in total offense (511.5). His line led the American Athletic Conference and ranked 14th nationally, allowing just 15 sacks in 13 games.
• South Florida quarterback Quinton Flowers rushed for 100-plus yards in six games and running back Marlon Mack rushed for 100-plus yards five times.
• The Bulls scored 30-plus points in all 13 games and established program records for points (569), touchdowns (77), total yards (6,650), rushing yards (3,714) and rushing TDs (47).
• Darren Hiller is in his second season as Indiana’s run game coordinator and offensive line coach.
• In 2017, IU finished third in the Big Ten (35th nationally) in passing offense, and sixth in scoring offense and total offense despite using four different line combinations.

quote:Not necessarily at outside WR. We have no college proven & healthy outside WRs right now. Most of our WRs are inside guys or haven't been proven on the outside yet. If Seth moves from the inside to outside & Pick qualifies then we will have a different story.
We have multiple guys who would be ahead of him on the depth chart.

If we take him over a GT OL I'm writing Gus a damn letter.

does the news about Mizz help us with anyone?
quote:Can if he wants to but I don't think he's going to care about the bowl ban or the 5 less schollied players Mizzou can have during his 1 year there. IMO he went to where he thought he could be best developed for the NFL for a season, not to play in a bowl game.
Chance Kelly Bryant can transfer again?

I hate to undo that hard work but it still doesn’t make sense why they’d visit Indiana. A simple search says they have a former HS teammate that’s currently a sophomore at Indiana. Maybe they just want to get together and party? A lot of great programs around the nation have OL coaches that has a proven track record.

I qualified it by saying if we missed on Pickens. I think Seth and Schwartz would be ahead of him though. Then there are still guys like Shedrick Jackson and Matt Hill. Sheffield is coming in and McClain is buried on the depth chart. We have skill and depth there already. If we don't get Pickens I'm all for getting this guy, but otherwise I think we have plenty there already.
quote:Yeah not even a week ago I wasn't sure if we would have enough spots and now it looks like we might have a couple open lol. I would be OK taking the Ark WR if we just ended up with an extra slot too, but if its an either or.. or if we just decide to take a WR over an OL transfer I'm honestly going to be really confused.
There will likely be room for a DT OL regardless although I only seeing us going after a GT C if one comes up the staff likes.
I saw where Kelly Bryant is staying at Mizz. I want to see our guys play anyway so I'm glad to just avoid all the drama with that.

Mark Murphy and Marcello both CBd Richards to AU

quote:Both guys haven't been at the X WR position although at least 1 could move to it I think if the staff chooses to.
I think Seth and Schwartz would be ahead of him though.
quote:Yes but both are unproven & neither have a big body most coaches want for an X WR.
Then there are still guys like Shedrick Jackson and Matt Hill.
quote:Not guaranteed he will begin his career at WR if we don't get a Safety in the class.
Sheffield is coming in
quote:Agree if the OL is a GT Center or an undergrad OT or OG.
