And I remember when taking a Limo was banned after Auburn did it on Tiger Prowl.

I never thought of that until now. Wtf. Some archaic, bullshite transportation loophole, I guess.

The limo wasn’t banned. They just limited the amount of coaches a college can send to a high school for a visit. I think the limit now is two but they can use whatever transportation they like

. . . so Gus should paraglide in on a big orange-n-blue eagle themed AU.

Apparently the school band and local media was also there waiting for the helicopter landing so I’m sure MAR was flattered that the spectacle was all about him.

Gus is doing his in home visit with MAR today. Gus has by far the longer relationship between the two HCs though so maybe MAR will see past tbe desperation tactics.

You are correct about limiting coaches, but

“The rationale for the rule, according to the draft of the proposal that was approved by the NCAA Legislative Council on April 13 before it became final Thursday, specifically mentioned the use of limos and "extravagant buses."

Given the recently passed rule, that many coaches visiting a school on the same day is now a no-no. And so are stretch limos.

Limos aren’t banned They’re just referenced in the rationale for the 2 coach rule

If you’re bringing two coaches the impact statement is now the sports car (or helicopter) every coach has

Keith changed his CB for Henry to foggy, lawd. Any dudes on here over 240 with some eligibility left? We might need you at offensive tackle in a couple of years.

Well this sucks. Was this the kid Saban recently visited ? Something about a helicopter. I'm probably confused.

The 247 guy close to his recruitment says FSU is trending big now

No spinning things if AU misses on Bell & Henry. Complete failure once again at OL if that happens

Gonna make it even more difficult for the coach we hire next year to fix the mess Gus has made on the O line.

Honestly I would be fine with missing on Bell. But AU HAS to get Henry. If they could somehow pull Henry/Asaboro with Jones/Osborne that's a solid class. It's not as good as it should be but it's not a complete dumpster fire

Per KN: According to Jackson-Olin coach Tim Vakakes, Robinson "wants to visit more places, is unsure and he doesn't want to do that while being committed."

. . . read into that what you want?

He says AU is still #1 and will always be home. Read into that what you will, may just trying to soften the blow.

His family wants him at bama so you know how that usually goes for us.

Pretty rare that a kid decommits and recommits but it happens. Also rare is a recruiting battle with Bama nowadays. Seems like it’s been a while
