Not sure, but him and MAR are our two targets at RB with MAR being the higher priority. A VIP article was posted too, but I can't read it so maybe someone else can give details on that.

Nothing too juicy just that AU/GT are the teams to watch right now

His brother signed with GT last cycle so wouldn't shock me to see him land there with the regime change. Honestly I'd be cool with all 3 backs if there's a spot

I am concerned Dell is gonna steal another from AU in Richards. Miami OV will be big too. Glad DJ is already in the boat

AU didn't make the cut for 3* OT Dawand Jones's top 5. Focus solely on Ira Henry right now who will take OV to FSU this weekend

FWIW Wolk is still very confident AU will get one of Richards or Griffin. Even seemed to think good chance get both

I think Griffin is all GT but we will see...

Tape differences between he and Ira Henry are night and day. Jones is big, and slow, very big, and very slow.

Henry would be a very good get.

I won’t speculate on his status to Gus. Gus only talks to Jesus and Kristi and neither work for 247.
that’s fair.

But he had a belly last season
Interesting. I hadn’t noticed.

FWIW Mark Murphy posted he & Jason have been told Alec Jackson will definitely be moved to the OL this Spring.

Years wise that's essentially adding a juco with 3 to play 3 in that group. Could be a big help in 2020 & 2021 if it works out.

Weird. I was pretty excited about him on the DL.

This is what happens when you do a shitty job recruiting the O line - you bring in other positions to help fill the gap

CB's flying in for AU on Ira Henry. All 3 from Wiltfong, KN & the 247 guy that has the best connection to that recruitment. Just need to survive this weekend

He definitely wasn't going to see the field this year at DL with everyone coming back + Coynis being a year improved physically.

He's long as hell & Garner said he had the mentality to play but was struggling with staying low. At AL/MS All-Star Game they told him he wasn't allowed to put hands up during practice because he kept knocking balls down

Between Tega, Manning & now Jackson, Garner doing a great job recruiting OL

OT:
Feeling is remarkably mutual. Sounds like Cowart is growing up:
Justin Ferguson
@JFergusonAU
Maryland DE Byron Cowart on his Auburn days: “Yeah, I wish it would’ve worked out. It was like an ex-girlfriend — the one who got away.”

Cowart said he wasn’t ready in terms of IQ to make an impact at Auburn. The change to another coaching staff at Maryland helped him there.

247 release updated rankings today of their final 5*s

Pappoe stays in it but falls 13 spots to #28

Somehow Pickens doesn't make the cut...

Even though he got a lot of pub All American game week there were a couple of 247 reporters there that said he dropped a couple balls.
