Couple of notes from PM kind of recruiting related. Tega has graduated and PMs hearing late 2nd or 3rd round pick if he leaves.

Calvin Ashely is "not with the team right now"

Rusty thinks AU gets DJ Williams

He also thinks they get Trey Sanders though & Bone for Bama says that Williams is the Tide's next guy up if they miss on Sanders. They like him more than Deondrick Glass apparently

And we thought this year's Oline was bad. Can't wait to see what happens next year. I can't imagine Gus winning many games at all with next year's group of Olinemen.

So AU actually got grad transfer Tommy Kennedy to visit right before the dead period & right after his OV to MIA. AU making a strong late push there more than likely because of the Tega news

Get ready for starting OTs from UMass & Butler folks

That makes me giggle. I would send Webb a pic of the roster and tell him he starts day one.

Calvin Ashley is such a head scratcher. WTF happened with him? Didn’t he have a neck/spine injury in spring practice, wondered if he has had lingering issues from that.

Last I heard it was injury that was keeping Ashley out. They never really said what the injury was, but all news I've read seemed like it didn't look good.

I get it from Tega's standpoint, but it's still going to hurt. It's a pretty weak year for O linemen and next year will be way better. He will probably go mid rounds in the draft.. Thats not too bad considering he started out as a project on defense. We've actually put a decent number of O line into the NFL the past few years... You would think we could sell someone on being the next Grob, Coleman, Braden etc.

That would require a good recruiter at Oline coach, which hasn't happened since Jeff Grimes left

I like it. Also, has anybody given Cole Cubelic a look or is he happy w/ his current gig at the SEC Network? Dude seems knowledgeable on tv and radio. I'm just not sure he'd want the BS of recruiting high school kids.

Sure and let's hire Greg McElroy as OC

ETA: the quote to give some clarity as to who I'm referring to

Apparently Mack Brown & UNC are trying to make a big push for 4* CB Cam'ron Kelly but he says he's signing with AU on Wednesday

How’s Georgia reacting to the news?
