The Butler grad transfer OT just posted on Twitter a few hours ago that he’s received an auburn offer.

Pretty clear there is little confidence from he staff on Putnam.

When is Gus gonna grow a pair and hire an O line coach who can recruit? Time to fire our current coach

We had that and our line gave up record setting sacks (and possibly permanent broke Stidham)

An OL coach needs to be able to do both really well or else we’ll be right back where we are now

I disagree that Hand could recruit. None of his guys turned into anything and he whiffed on all the big targets his final year.

I mean his one big class are only just now turning into redshirt sophomores

Though I do agree that his recruiting didn't necessarily live up to hype. He screwed AU big time last year by leaving when he did. Not sure coulda gotten Gouraige or Barnes but any shot we had was dead once he left. Then he took AU's top grad transfer target as well

FYI the supposed secret visitor that the "insider" on the Bunker was talking about is 4* DE Kevin Harris who is a Bama commit

He visited Bama as expected....

We missed on a lot of prospects: Trey Hill( the most brutal,) Calvin Anderson, Dylan Wonnum, Tank Jenkins( turned this 4 star down apparently). Really bad all around.

LOL so according to KN that Butler grad transfer is signing Wednesday...

Glad to see we waited to offer until the Sunday before his signing day....

Just waiting to melt when Putnam commits to FSU FWIW (KN is still hearing from one source it's AU/CLEM so no one seems to know WTF is going on)

Throw in not even trying to pursue AU legacy Walker Culver who signed with VT until the last possible moment, losing Jerome Carvin to Tennessee and deciding to stupidly not take Jalen Goss when we had the chance.....

This year is turning out to not be much better if we do in fact miss out on Putnam. People can argue all they want about playcalling but Gus getting fired is gonna be because of sucky OL recruiting

AU did get another CB for DJ Williams which is good as there has been some buzz that UGA is putting on a strong push for him this weekend

We need a plug-in tackle in addition to Putnam, who is more of a center to me than a tackle.

Desperately need a bulldozer at center and someone with a pulse to replace Driscoll.

At this point I would settle for a speed bump

FWIW I think Brahms can get there. We forget that the guy snapped his leg back in March and missed 5 months of strength and conditioning. He’s going to be a lot better after a full off season of S&C

Another Gus disciple I'm starting to question. I like the guys energy but starting to question all the body weight and plyometric shite they do in S&C. Say what you want about Yox but he believed in heavy lifting.

Our guys are pretty yoked. One of the criticisms of Yox toward the end was his focus away from heavy lifts (bench press especially) and our guys physically looking smaller than the rest of the conference. Big Kat didn’t put on 50lbs in one off season just doing plyometrics. I think you’re wrong on this
