We don’t need Bryant. I personally want him most to mentor Bo Nix. He’s an exceptional person and, by all accounts, a real leader.
I think the offense can be fine with Malik it’s just going to be a weird transition to a read option for one season before Nix should be ready to run a non-read offense.

I've seen nothing in Willis that gives me hope. The safety, missing open receivers on 2pt plays and such are IMHO indicators he doesn't get it. What team's db was saying he can't pass? lol
I'm with you on Bryant if he couldn't beat the golden boy then how is he going to save this mess?
I really hope Bo/Cord or Gatewood comes in and takes over like we see other freshmen QB's do at other schools.

I think with bowl practices and the off season installing the read option will be enough to move the ball with Malik.
I’m not suggesting by any means that it will be dominant or transcending but I think Malik is talented enough to spark the offense.
Yeah, he was quite unsuccessful this season but I think that’s probably a product of not getting the snaps he needs to be good at the read option. It takes a bit of experience to get the hang of it and when your game planning calls for it seldom to never you’re just not going to get the reps you need to be successful.
That’s also why I’d like to see KB here because I think it could set us back further longterm by going back to read option when Nix is clearly the QB of the future in our QB room

This is pretty horrible analysis on Pappoe. Barton Simmons has very little clue how to truly evaluate anyone.
He uses the same logic to crap on OP as he does to praise Nakobe Dean.

Hell no to Cord ever seeing the field. It blows my mind people still think he can play. I don't think Willis is as bad as people say either. He missed some reads and throws this year.. I watched Stidham do it all year too soo.
