Elijah Holyfield isn't over 6' either.

Not sure I buy him being that y’all either. He is a thick dude though.

I got some feed back on Asa this weekend. Appreantly he is lazy and has gained too much weight. It could account for his lack of carries.

Since 2015 they have gotten two RBs that fit this description. The rest are around 5’10 190-200lbs. The difference isn’t really the size of their backs, it’s that they’re just better. Same with UGA.

Their Olines are great as well.

Nick Chubb under 6'

First two on alabama's depth chart are currently under 6'.

RB doesn't have to be 6' 220. The problem is our RB's just aren't that good, and our OL is atrocious.

That's the big difference. Both UGA & BAMA are loading up on the OL

That makes 1000% sense...he absolutely looked like he had some pudge. I thought my eyes deceived me, but this confirms I was right. Not sure how you can be lazy on a college football team and get pudgy. At that age when your testosterone levels are so high, metabolism is through the roof, etc. plus at least keeping up with SOME kind of workout regimen.

I never saw what everyone else seemed to see in Devan Barrett.. Man could get tackled by a strong breeze.

Boobie Whitlow is a good RB, we lack depth behind him for sure though(Shivers is good, but we need to put him in space more). Like other people have said... the biggest difference is O line. Bama used to try to kill us at LB until we brought in TWill. Now they are killing us on O line and Grimes and Lindsay aren't good enough recruiters to make up for it.

Edit-- Just saw more rumors of Urban leaving after the season. If its true I wish we would try to get involved with Harry Miller.

News: Source tells me that former Clemson QB Kelly Bryant has scrapped his official visit to Miami this weekend and will instead use his last official visit to go to Auburn next week.

It's clear Willis isn't the answer, so you would be stuck with 3 freshman QBs to chose from. Bryant is a good move for Auburn.

I think it also signals that Gus isn’t excited to go back to a full read option/ nick marshal offense.

Bryant can pick up yards consistently with his feet but he’s not dynamic.

I think the biggest thing is that Bryant isn’t a pussy He’s a proven winner and he’s not going to suffer from the yips in the pocket. And I’d be pumped for Nix to learn under him for a season.

That's what I really like most about Bryant. He seems like the kind of guy a team can really around. As much as I wanted Stidham to be that guy this year, it never seemed to click for him on the leadership side. That kind of stuff can make a big difference in how a team's season will go.

Yeah and picking up his commitment on December 4th could be huge momentum right before the early signing day on the 19th.

^this is required for a QB to be successful at an SEC school.

You are going to get lit up and hit hard.

You cannot wilt when that happens.

You have to lead the team.
