Missed KN update this afternoon that 4* DE Caleb Tannor will take an OV. Not sure if he's a take or not

Guess we aren’t going to push for Tank. Much rather have him than wasting a space with Alaimo.

Dude is a freak athlete. He stands out at camps. The concern many have is whether he's physical enough to be RB in SEC. Shivers is a more physical back than he is. No one's denying he's got talent just concerned style won't translate to next level. He's almost 6'4" as well which is super tall for a running back. Honestly think he would be better weapon as a WR in the short passing game. Match him up against safeties and linebackers
Fwiw if he does learn to run behind his pads more effectively and becomes a more physical back then he will be a stud. But it's usually not simple for a back to go from finesse to power so we will see. I hope us doubters look dumb in a few years

I have no problem with it. With his abilities, I’d rather we get to try and make him good, not have to deal with him if someone else does. Only issue I have is we’ve gotten a ton of RB’s that frankly really only 2 or so willgwt any meaningful snaps

What are the odds that we're taking Joiner as the rare RB/TE. If it is an option at TE does that mean no Alaimo? At this point with spots limited I'm not sure I want Alaimo.. I have to think Fuqua is pretty much guaranteed to have to take a grey shirt if we take Joiner and Alaimo, right?

You heard it here first (or second): Joiner will be a bust. Don't care how "athletic" he is. Gus ain't got time for projects -- and Joiner will be. Gus needs production.

He might be a bust but we don’t exactly need him to come in and contribute right away. We have depth

I don't see the knock on Joiner. He's a big athlete. Sign him and try him at RB, TE, or WR. If it doesn't work out, he can play H-Back and be a 6th blocker like Cox.

KN says Joiner wants to be at AU he knows that for a fact. Says he's bonded with some other AU commits. Question is will AU take him. KN thinks they will but has no solid info yet

I know most of the talk is around Joiner but I am very interested to see what comes out on Dylan Wonnum. With Wiltfong CBing Gouraige to CLEM (FWIW I don't think that one is over yet), Barnes looking more likely to UNC & FSU making a move on Goss, would love to swoop in & steal Wonnum away. I am higher on those other guys but beggars can't be choosers at this point
