Bo needs to hurry up and get on board. Gus isn't going anywhere for a few years at least...wasn't that his major holdout?

Say we miss on Jones, do we take Nix and another QB next year?

Tho don't be shocked if Kirby makes sure Hill's OV runs late Sunday to try & keep Gus from making his visit

Time for Gus to pack his sleeping bag, Harbaugh style.

Due to weather looks like AU won't have any OVs this weekend. KN says expect next weekend to be booked solid & some mid week visitors. One midweek visitor will be that Australian punter

and losing Hill would be a HUGE loss for us. IMO, he is our most important remaining target.

How? He is a strict OG and we already have two committed. This team needs OT's, therefore he can't possibly be the "most important". Most of the guys we already have on campus are guys that will likely be better inside.

Yeah Hill isn't an immediate impact player. He would be very nice to have, far from most important recruit.

Because he is elite - a top 50 recruit who has the talent to truly make a difference during his college tenure. He is one of those guys that could make a line elite. The other two guards we have committed might make a contribution after two or three years on our roster - we have lots of those type players already. UGA has enough elite o linemen we will have to face for the next four years - I don't want Hill to be a part of that list. If we truly want to compete with UGA, we need to win at least half of these battles.

Tigerpaw, Franklin and Daniels don't seem small at CB to you? Both seem short and skinny to me.

Also, can't Trey Hill play center? Besides OT and CB I think he's our most important target right now, but only because we are good at DL, LB, and WR.

Yes, Trey Hill said he could play either center or guard at the college level. Read that in an interview he recently had with UGA people.

You could've said that easily with our present team but not next year and beyond.. Tega, Ashley, Sammons and Troxell are our tackles moving forward.

No Franklin is 5'11" & would probably play around 190 lbs. Javaris Davis is 5'10" 180 lbs. Daniels is 6'2" 180 lbs so not sure why he would be considered small. Both are big enough to play at next level

Yes he can play center tho would prefer guard I believe

FYI Josh Marsh & Kolbi Fuqua won't be playing in next week's AL/MS All Star Game. Fuqua recovering from surgery & Marsh is out with sickness. Kinda bummed as those were the 2 guys I was interested in seeing more of & how they stack up with top competition

Because he, going by ratings, is the type of elite player it takes to win titles. The high 3* low 4* types are great and every team needs them to win but you have to have some elite players mixed in the compete at the highest levels. This class is lacking that right now.

The info I saw on Daniels said he was 6'2 and around 170...that's really skinny to me. Franklin is about the same size as most of our CB though. It just seems to me we already have enough shorter CB's in Davis(5'10 186), Broussard(5'11 172), Peters(6'1 185[taller, but still skinny], Askew(5'11 182) and Dinson(6'0 186) as opposed to Dean who is 6'2 215 and Carlton who is 6'1 203. Carlton is going pro so that leaves us with one bigger CB and and the rest are fairly small.. it just seems to me we would want to add another big body at CB instead of another smaller guy.

and I just looked up Tutt too.. he's around 5'10 180. If we don't get any bigger DB's in we are going to struggle against big WR's imo.

Carlton Davis was pretty skinny when he signed out of high school.

Did Hill actually make it to UGA's campus today?

They will all gain weight, but CB's and WR's are probably the 2 hardest positions to put on weight just due to body type.. a DB putting on 20 or 30 lbs is a lot to ask without losing a step or some mobility.

Don't sell short needing a quality Guard...Braden SMith was top line for 2-3 years, and he was vital to that side.

trey Hill could be that guy to fill his spot...Having a top guard can be just as valuable as a T...

Especially in what is usually a run heavy offense that we use.
