Rusty over at UGA 247 making it sound like UGA cut him loose to make room. Come on down Mr Tannor. Join that GA boy DL that kicked UGA's arse

Was it between us and UGA for him? Hopefully we can get back in it with him.

Yup. Got 2 quick CBs already but neither of those guys are AU or UGA insiders

KN says Tannor might need to do a lot of work in classroom to qualify. Still wouldn't rule out AU coming back after him

Recruiting is such a fickle thing.

Lol I'm honestly just a fan. I used to go to the same high school many years ago. I've seen plenty of people from that school who were pretty good, but not D-1 material and I've seen guys from that school who went D-1(one guy is a DB for Arkansas and another starts on the DL for Wake Forest). He's talented enough just under the radar right now, but I already posted a couple of days ago that he has visits coming soon to FSU and Fla so I'm not sure how long he will stay under the radar. I keep using the example, but we didn't try to recruit Truesdell until really late in the process and even though I think 99% chance we don't go after this kid we are one or two misses at CB from him being on our list in my opinion and you can't honestly tell me that seeing those stats and his film that he doesn't have the talent.
Jaycee Horn was the number 1 guy I wanted after Armour-Davis decommitted. He's pretty tall for a CB and has good gentics being Joe Horn's son. I thought his recruitment would be much bigger than it is.

Hey fellas, good game on Saturday. Hope we get a shot to rematch in Atlanta.
Just wanted to pass on some relevant info.
Georgia people indicate that Caleb Tannor decommit was a mutual decision based on grades/qualification worries. Likely a JUCO guy from the sound of things.
Trey Hill is a bit of a mystery. UGA 247 and Rivals guys still confident on him to UGA, but it think it comes down to the wire. Cade Mays coming into the picture for us really throws a wrench in the whole thing since our spots, particularly at oline, are limited.

Well this is interesting, KN says 2019 UGA commit 5* WR Jadon Hazelwood was at AU game. KN says Burns is still REALLY hard after him & the two have a great relationship. Doesn't have much more than that right now
It's crazy UGA already has the top 2 WRs committed for 2019 considering how shitty their passing game is. I can somewhat understand all the RBs lining up to play there but WRs flocking to a Chaney offense seems dumb. Maybe our strong finish & hopefully continually improving passing game can shake things up. Hazelwood is a monster & his name is awesome

If you were a top WR recruit and you had a chance to play with the next Deshaun Watson, wouldn't you commit as well? I don't see UGA keeping Chaney after this year anyways, especially if they lose in the SECCG

He was committed way before Fields ever committed. Having Fields on board will probably help keep him because he loves Fields. Still they have two 5* QBs on roster already & can't throw the ball down the field

I would text those stats every day to every WR and QB recruit they have.

If we are being honest, they could ask the same question about any big time wr that commits to us. Last Saturday was better but it's not like we have slung it around over the years under Gus.

I 100% agree actually
It's why I haven't been that upset about Justyn Ross. Dude is a 50/50 ball type of WR that you toss it up to & let go make plays. We don't do that. Clemson does so makes a ton of sense for him to go there. Why any top WR would commit to AU or UGA makes no sense to me

We should have appeal for WRs that have elite straight line speed, decent size. Basically the Sammie Coates, Tedd Ginn and Martavis Bryants of the world
If you want to make money exclusively catching the ball 40 yards down field, AU is the place for you

Yea, I'm really not sure why a receiver would want to come to AU either. We normally only have one, maybe two receivers put up halfway decent numbers

Agreed which is why Anthony Schwartz should be sprinting here
