He's done the same thing to LSU. I don't think it's that he's not serious I think he is a kid who tells people what they want to hear but may not have the means to back it up.

Is this a joke? LSU has some of the most loyal fans of any fan base. Are you saying this just because of who they are playing?

They suck at showing up to non prime time games

Maybe so. Personally I would love for us to still get him but I get why staff is moving on. They tried all summer to get him to campus and he just never made it. We will see if he actually makes it to Baton Rouge this weekend

LSU fans have developed a reputation for leaving at halftime, particularly if the game is lopsided (and not just if they're winning).

Not sure I agree. I have lived in Louisiana for the last 10 years and have been to many games at LSU and while they may not have full attendance at non-prime time games they are average, at worst in this category.

there is nothing to disagree with. It happens every game that isnt big. The stadium is empty at half.

Hoover beat Mtn. Brook 31-21 tonight.

Shedrick Jackson had 8 catches for 101 yards and 1 TD

George Pickens had 4 catches for 56 yards

Harold Joiner had 132 yards on 23 carries

Shedrick leaving whitey in the dust

Shedrick making a nice sideline TD catch. Demonstrating concentration, good hands, and good body control

Joiner is a big arse dude if you didn't know

Looks skrong. I wouldn't want to try and stop that dude at full speed.

(There were no pics of Pickens in action in the article I read unfortunately)

Btw if you guys need some entertainment before the game tonight, go over to the LSU recruiting board and read their threads about Justin Fields. Hilarious stuff. I know it goes without saying that LSU has some retarded posters, but they've really outdone themselves with the Justin Fields talk

Knew I shoulda gone to the Hoover vs Mnt Brook game. The paper had it listed as a Hoover home game. Didn't think that was right. I can just about walk to Mnt Brook high school.

If he would just get pissed off one time and actually truck someone and see how much fun it is, he would be a top 5 back in this class.

LSU fans have a tough relationship with reality

How are we doing w Fields? Basically out of it?

Joiner is another in a long line of guys in this class we need to push for even if it may be a bit of risk involved.

Still very much in it. Tonight is a big opportunity. Need to show an explosive offense

I think we have a much better shot than most people will say at this point.

Georgia is losing ground now that it looks like Fromm will take the job from Eason.

Florida State seems like his personal favorite, but the family wants him relatively close to home and Tallahasse is 5 hours from his home town. Auburn is only 2 and Athens is 90 minutes for reference.
Also with Francois out for the year that means he'll be back next year which hurts them.

I think the LSU visit is just for fun to take advantage of his visits. He might give then some thought, but at this point they're about 5th even behind Florida. But of course LSU fans on they're board say they have a 25% chance at landing him several of them also think he'd be scared to go there because he wouldn't beat out Myles Brennan or Lyle Narcisse and be 3rd string

His approach to Auburn has always been that he wants to wait and see how we do this season, and how our offense looks. He won't want to come here if we run 80% of the time like we have the last couple seasons and have terrible passing schemes like we have.
But he's always liked Auburn and Cam Newton is his hero and idol (and 7 on 7 coach) and he wants to be the next Cam so he's always been intrigued with us because of that.

The better Stidham and our WRs play this season, the better our chances get.

If we show that our passing scheme has evolved to a more sophisticated system under Lindsey, and we show that we can develop a QB with Stidham, and we show more balance towards passing then I think we have a really good chance.

Right now we're the consensus 3rd place, but I think in the end it will come down to us and FSU, and at the moment the dominoes seem to be falling in our favor.

If we have a good year through the air statistically, then I have a good gut feeling that we could land him.
Show him we're willing to pass and be balanced, and can develop a QB with Stidham having a good year and improving (especially if he does well enough that he goes pro) and our WRs ball out and show the potential we know they have and he sees the weapons he can have to work with here... combined with the Fromm and Francois situations at UGA and FSU respectively, plus close distance to make mom happy, and a little positive influence from Coach Cam... I really think all that could add up and end up with us landing him in the end

Agree. His style can be changed. A coach who doesn't believe he can get the job done, must not have much faith in his own abilities to coach.
