I'd rather not take joiner seems like a waste

I'll take him as a flex end all day every day. His athleticism & skill set is perfect for it.

Hopefully but they are going to be stacked and keep beating us if something doesn't change soon.

I don't see Martin as a feature back. I see him like Kerryon.

Well if they beat us this year there likely will be a staff change so there's that.

FWIW a couple of notes from Hunter on the Bunker.

Says if we have a solid season we get Fields which he puts us at >71% on him right now. If we get Fields, we get Pierce. Says if we go 8-5 again we'll have to get The Bagman to deliver Joiner to us as the top RB in our class.

He also liked another post that said we lead for Pierce as of now & Horton as the primary recruiter is a big reason why. Liking a post for Hunter usually means he agrees with the opinion.

Fields and pierce would make the class on offense. Just think we need more dlinemen than is being projected

IDK. I think we will be good at DT with 2. I would like 2 good pass rushers though with at least 1 being a DE. The other can be a LB IMO.

Glad you're back from your SECRant sabbatical

I've been in Atlanta permanently for 2 years now. I still try to get back down to LA for a few weeks a year

Maybe not, but we were looking ugly as he'll at times lady year due to injury. Wasn't Kam Martin our only healthy scholarship back at one point last season?

Looks like you guys forgot what happened when Pettway got hurt last year.

We totally sucked running the ball.

We basically have ONE true every down back. All those little other backs we have are cute but we have one hammer.

Not really true because KJ carries us in the LSU game the first time Pet got hurt. But we had 3 backs last year, 2 of which were injured. We didn't really help ourselves with recruiting that position last year.

That happened to coincide with a non-healthy Sean White (which was a bigger factor in us not being able to run the ball).

KJ is absolutely capable of being an every down back. So is Miller.

And a Kerryon Johnson who was playing through a high ankle sprain

People think that just because a guy suits up and runs on the field that he isn't significantly affected by an injury.

Yup. Having 2 banged up RBs and a 1-dimensional offense bc we either have an injured QB or a non-throwing threat at QB......that's not a recipe for a successful offense.

I saw the same thing happen with Danjel Purifoy in basketball last year. The guy had an ugly looking ankle injury which had to be a high ankle sprain

When somehow that mofo comes back in 2 weeks instead of typical ~4-6 week recovery, people are criticizing him for not moving more on defense / not driving more on offense

Seems dumb to play through injury nowadays, you'll get crucified by the fans/media for not playing 100%
