My wife and I took my one year old to A-Day one year. It was fun getting some of the players to hold the baby and get a pic.
We ran into Markeith and let him hold her. He flashed that gold grill and the baby thought it was funny and died laughing at him. He looked at me and said, "I'm like that with all da weminz!"

Im just saying having 20-25 different coaches blowing up your phone every day would probably be a bit stressful

So apparently Keith spoke with an elite 11 QB parent close to Justin and close to his 7v7 team and to Cam. This parent thinks Fields will end up at AU. Says Lindsey is a real low key recruiter and that seems to click well with Fields. KN says obviously no one really knows where he ends up but it's clear we are very much in the middle of this race. He plans on spending night in AU on July 13th and that will be 3rd known visit
I wonder if why there isn't more noise about AU with Fields nationally is because of Lindsey recruiting style. This update tho backs up more of what AU "insiders" are saying which is encouraging. Also I am gonna guess this parent is related to Jarren Williams based off contestants at competition and connections to southeast

Gonna be a bit of an UGA melt coming as Stpehon Wynn is all of a sudden trending Tide. Means they will have missed on Cox and Wynn. See guys we aren't only ones finding no DL in GA

Please Gus deliver Fields to us.

ETA: Trovon Reed (bust, played out of position), Mike Dyer (thug, kicked off team), Jovon Robinson (strange situation, bad teammate, kicked off team), Kiehl Frazier (should've been considered a 0*), Duke Williams (thug, headcase, bad teammate, kicked off team), Roc Thomas (bust, position change, transfer), Christian Westerman (transfer), Elijah Daniel (thug, kicked off team), Byron Cowart (bust so far, position change).

The bad outweighs the good pretty heavily. It really isn't even close.

A good year by Stidham would go a long way too IMO

I don't remember Daniel being a 5* anywhere.
And weren't Frazier and Westerman both 5*s on maybe 1 site a piece and 4* on all the others? And wasn't it sites like scout or ESPN that you don't normally pay attention to unless they name one of your players a 5*?
Dyer may have been a head-case but for his two seasons he absolutely played like a 5* top ranked RB.
2335 yards, 15 TD, 5.5 ypc
Freshmen All-American, BCSNCG MVP, and 1st team All-SEC
I'll take that any day.
Anyway, Derrick Brown and Davidson both looked the part last season and they're the most recent two.
Tre Williams hasn't been quite 5* good, but he's quietly been a very good player for us (And he was low 5* anyway. Like #30 overall player range)
And of course Monty and Carl as mentioned.
I know it's easy to dwell on when things don't go as hoped, but I think you're being just a bit over dramatic with the negatives. It's not like Auburn is the only school where 5*s don't live up to the hype. I doubt our ratio of failure to success are that far off from the averages.

Derrick Brown is still a wait and see in my book and Tre Williams has more to accomplish as well, but yes, it seems like Auburn hit on Carl Lawson, Montravius Adams and Marlon Davidson. The ones still playing have to keep playing and not end up like others that were kicked off, or transferred, etc
