Sounds like Tray Bishop is the next QB target in line. UGA 247 mods saying he is trending AU and that we are starting to sell playing QB more than we were

I'm pretty sure he reads a summary of recruiting news from another board and then posts his own summary afterwards here. Seems to be the pattern anyways

I'm not the biggest fan of him as a QB prospect, FWIW. Not with our coaches doing the development.

I doubt even if he becomes our only QB commit he ever plays there with Barrett & Gatewood. Would be more of an emergency option
Honestly with who is left on the board I think N'Kosi Perry makes a lot of sense. I know he loves Miami but they already have a pro style guy in this class as well and Richt isn't known for his use of duel threat guys

I usually agree but he has committable offers to UGA at WR and UF as a safety.

Goal is to take one every season
I should add that it's not set in stone at all that Bishop will be the QB we go for now in this class just that right now UGA 247 mods are saying AU has talked up playing QB to him recently. And Rusty seems to think that the result of that change has AU trending some. I fully expect us to continue to pursue Narcisse & Mond along with Toney & Perry. Some other names might start cropping up in the next few months as well
On Bishop the bottom line is kid is a great athlete that you get on campus anyway you can. Even if we make him the QB target I think chances are high he follows the Jason Smith route and ends up at WR or S. Long way to NSD. If either LSU or A&M blow up chance we get those guys back or someone we have never heard of right now shows up later in the process
If AU can just go 15-0 & LSU/A&M both fire their coaches then we will have the pick of the litter

It's really too soon. Auburn was locked in on Kellen Mond. Now, it's the dead period. That ends July 10 ... No visitors on campus until it ends.
The staff likely will take another run at Lowell Narcisse, the former commit now pledged to LSU. Miami commit N'Kosi Perry is another guy they may target. Even Florida commit Kadarius Toney is a potential target.
And of course, you have Tray Bishop ... though I still say he's more of an ATH -- a guy who would get a shot at QB, though.
But at this time, Auburn probably will now take a deep breath and go over the board and look over all the possibilities.
Also, we've been told the Tigers believe the options will open up significantly should the season start off well.
Would love to give you more names; more intel.
