Barrett & Brahms have both left neither committed which isn't a huge surprise. KN says that AU is clear leader for Brahms though. He is visiting Tennessee next & UNC after that

I'm a pretty well known recruiting melter but losing a JUCO TE to Arkansas is probably the least meltworthy thing I can possibly think of.

I don't know really what A&M has on the roster or in their current class but I gotta think the prospect of having Troxell and Ashley as your tackles and Craig, Davis, Stove at receiver (plus Ausbon and Jones if they come with him) has to be pretty appealing to Mond.
In the article on 247 it seems like AU would be for him now when he says being comfortable is his biggest factor after talking about how comfortable he is with Lashlee and he just met Mazzone like a week ago.

Solid OL reputations certainly help out QB recruiting. Troxell is a huge pickup. We've taken a lot of high upside/raw guys on the OL lately. Ashley and Troxell should help balance things out

Ya he said being comfortable with OC and who he thinks is best at developing QBs for NFL. I think AU leads in both of those categories considering as up & down as AU's QB play has been I think Aggies have wasted even more talent

Allows us to use Horton at a OG position, which IMO is best for him, as well as AU.

Bammers saying he was scared of their depth and the guys they already have commited.... Like we don't have Calvin Ashley who's ranked higher than their guy or a JUCO guy who is going to be there 2 years is going to have an impact on his decision
