Yeah, that's what I said, God sent him His signal, i.e. Bama fricked you over kid, there's the Auburn letter.
God may not have used the word fricked though.

Weird but why did Clemson only sign 14 players this go round.

That is weird. I went back like 4 classes and they didn't over sign in any of them.

That's why I was confused by your message and felt the need to ask my question.

I guess they've just had very little attrition

Tigers only have 14 commitments for this year’s class. Because of a lack of available scholarships, they might not add any more on National Signing Day, which is Wednesday.

That's pretty cool then. Didn't know that was possible.

Not sure how many they had return but 25 times 4 is 100 plus another 25 for a fifth year of redshirt seniors. They could have lost 40 players over the course of fives years and still had their 85 if I am doing my math right.

I know we all or most all dislike Mr dabo, but I give the man credit for what he has built in Clemson.
He seems to be a top recruiter, hires great assistants, and develops his talent well. He has my respect. I also learned more about his personal life and it softened my dislike for the man some.

I've been following this stuff since 2010 and have never seen someone only sign 14.
You have to factor in that you never have 25 guys that stay 5 years. if you're good, you'll lose a good amount of juniors to the NFL. Then theres guys getting kicked off/not qualifying etc. The numbers start adding up

Please do not share it. I prefer my dislike not to be tempered by acknowledging a human being is there.
Credit him for building Clemson. Dislike him for the same reason
And, in a way, his program shows that top ranked classes are not a requirement for winning big if you get playmakers in key spots and solid players elsewhere.

So are we going to finish top 10?

I won't share it. I will leave that up to others if they want to. It's pretty inspiring though if you can get past the Bama crap.

Did Scout pay 247 to do that?

He doesn't lose coaches either. IIRC, in the SI article I read, he has had one coach leave in the last 6 years.....and that was for a promotion. I do not like him at all, but he does seem like a good person who runs a good program.
