So Bama basically pulled offer from 4* DE Jarez Parks right before planning to announce. Some pics of him crying on stage is making rounds on Twitter. I know KN mentioned him as a random possible option but longshot. My bet would be Florida but maybe he will get pissed at Bama and choose arch rival

If our staff isn't doing everything they can to get Parks on the phone, they aren't doing their jobs.

Right now they have reason for optimism. Recruiting is looking great for them. But they still have to show they can win on the field (against teams other than just us).
I do not know nearly as much as others about recruiting, but it seems like we are getting squeezed even more than normal because of the talented recruiters from the other teams working states like GA and FL.
Hopefully, next season is really good on the field and gets some momentum going.
It seems like this year's recruiting is not a disaster, but not sufficient for down the road. Still, while our troubles seem understandable (coaching future questions, mediocre seasons) other teams like FL really have my scratching my head... Don't get me wrong, I am happy they are struggling. I think we always need either GA or FL to be down to pull in some of their talent.
Honestly, I think I worry most about the future of the defense. It was so nice to have a respectable defense for large parts of this year, I am worried we will slide back.

While it's easy to look at their 2016 schedule and say they could've been 10-2, they just as easily could've been 2-10.

He really is but no one talked about him because of grades. Love taking the risk because we got so many open spots. Doesn't hurt anything and helps perception. If he gets in then we got a steal if not maybe we have headstart on him from JUCO
