Kid is good. Won't know until he hits a S&C program, and gets solid coaching, as to whether he is a great one, or not.

Plays up the road from us. Will see him play a couple times this Fall.

I guess we can feel good about Benton, Ashley, Troxell, Nico Collins, Alaric, Sermon, and Netori. All took pretty big dips in the most recent 247.

same here I have seen him play a few times. Kinda frustrating watching how little they used him. atleast in the games I saw he wasnt getting much called to him. Kid is a great athlete and can catch out of the backfield

There's also a back in Tennessee that the staff is high on. Can't think of his name. I'll look it up.

ETA: Ty Chandler Ole Miss legacy

Is Calvin Ashley considered to be a strong commit? Outside of Gus getting canned, what are the odds of him flipping? TIA, haven't been following '17 kids yet

I think he's as solid as this early of a commit can be which really isn't much. We are going to be battling Florida, FSU & plenty others all season long. It appears he really likes AU and we do have a wide open LT position for him in 2017 (unless someone like Horton or James comes on strong) so that's good for us.

In recruiting I considered "committed" more as "current leader"

When I was in HS, Milton set a state record for consecutive losses in Football.

I knew a couple girls who went there.
