If we have a solid year, all of this will sort itself out.

We have had some subpar seasons, and some great ones. One thing has been mostly solid throughout, and that is recruiting.

We are well located Thank Goodness!

Auburn didn't recruit Clayton until the ending which is on us not Monty. We may not have pulled it off anyways but Monty never had a chance to recruit

Heard a Kirby smart interview on the radio today. Apparently all of UGAs freshman are doing well. Tyler Clark, Elijah Hollyfield, David Marshall etc...

With one exception Julian Rochester

Kirby said he gets tired and has to stop practicing

Stidham is looking at Auburn, TAMU, LSU, and Florida

Concerns about style of play at LSU

TAMU could be in a pickle because they have Kellen Mond on board

Don't be surprised to see Stidham visit LSU, and UF soon

Plans to attend JUCO this fall, but for academics
only.

GF goes to school in TX. That could be a factor.

AU / TAMU likely leading the pack at this point

Per KN -

Jarrett Stidham is most definitely a take
Auburn likes it's chances
Don't think it will effect thinks with 2018 QB Joey Gatewood
TAMU biggest threat
Auburn doesn't feel like LSU and UF big factors
Watch out if Art Briles lands a HC job. That team would become a factor.
Stidham not in any rush. Will most likely make decision in December.

4* LB Drew Singleton will visit AU on Friday. He's the #1 recruit in New Jersey. Michigan is the favorite

Auburn offered Kadarius Toney last week as an athlete. He could play wr, rb, or db. Once source told KN "he's special"

Auburn still a factor with Oregon TE commit Tre Mckitty. Don't be surprised if he visits this fall. Family wants him to play closer to home.

AU still the team to beat for 3* db Jordyn Peters. Auburn offered after a strong camp performance. Coaches feel he could play Safety or Corner

KN put up AU his August version of predictions for AU's class

Transfer Jarrett Stidham
4* ATH Tray Bishop (AU Commit)
4* RB Devan Barrett (AU Commit)
4* ATH Alaric Williams (AU Commit)
3* JUCO ATH Octavius Matthews (AU Commit)
4* JUCO WR Brandon Martin
3* ATH Kaderius Toney (UF Commit)
3* TE Tre McKitty (OR Commit, thinks he is a flip candidate)
5* OT Calvin Ashley (AU Commit)
4* OT Austin Troxell (AU Commit)
4* OG Nick Brahms (AU Commit)
3* JUCO OT D'Marcus Hayes
3* JUCO OG Jordan Agasiva (has become our top OG target after Randolph committed to Bama)
4* DE Ryan Johnson (could move inside to DT)
4* DE MJ Webb (could move inside to DT)
4* JUCO DE Isaiah Buggs (called this his darkhorse pick)
4* LB Tadarian Moultry (AU Commit)
3* LB Chandler Wooten (AU Commit)
4* LB Kenney Britt
4* LB Tyler Taylor
4* CB Malcolm Askew (AU Commit)
3* ATH JaTarvious Whitlow (rising up our board as CB target)
3* S Carlito Gonzalez (AU Commit)
3* S Jordyn Peters (should announce before Aug 19th)
2* K Anders Carlson (AU Commit)
NR LS Bill Taylor (AU Commit)

This class would give us rating of 261.63 as of now putting us in the 11-15 rank range. Although Stidham is not included in that and he is a former 247 5* & composite #34 player in the country

At least we will have Kadarius Toney in this class as well. FormerQBtoWRU!!

So Isaac Buggs is our darkhorse pick. Good. I hope he isn't the highest ranked addition among our uncommitted recruits though. Our recruiting sucks. 11-15 isn't bad until you realize that that qualifies us for 5th or 6th in the SEC.

If we had a commit of ours decommit in this class, who will it most likely be?

Any of our targets commit soon?

Jacobs Stevens committed to LSU today.

Speaking of LSU, did y'all know that we let our best recruiter just literally pick up his ball and go to a hated rival to coach?

We have multiple posts about our shitty WRs with butter fingers. His relationship with JF3 supposedly is part of the reason we choose him over better JUCO QBs

Probably not the worst thing that he left

That's not true. Other than that WR class last year, which I'm grateful he stuck around to close out, he was never the recruiter for us that he was for FSU.

Rhett Lashlee has been our ace recruiter on offense in the Malzahn era.

Craig's all-time commits

Your two links confirm that Craig was the best of the two. Try that weak sauce on somebody else.

Craig saved our recruiting class last year along with Gardner. Lashlee's top recruit was JF3 last year.

Craig just wan't a good position coach. I would rather have somebody that can coach a player up.
