I'm happy about it. I think a grad transfer at this juncture would be detrimental to AU's locker room.

So they should remain that way?
No. Just saying no use in fighting it since they aren't going to change. Every fan base has it's dumb asses, it's trollers who only post to encite & start shite, posis, negas, & know-it-alls...And before anyone says anything I know i'm in the latter. When you have that diverse of personality converging, arguments will happen.

I agree with 24 If we have any spots left they should be used on cbs, lbs, and a grad transfer qbs.

We aren't in any shape to be turning away talent

lose Marshall

KN says Marshall usually responds to texts in minutes but hasn't gotten a response from him in the last 48 hours

I agree with you 24.

Someone asked KN about it but he didn't know..

I guess I could guess, but I don't have an answer for that.

I do know that even the previous staff thought this guy was really good.

He didn't just pop up. Auburn been working on him for awhile.

If I find anything out I'll let you know.

Doesn't matter like someone said. Moving on..

Basically what you're suggesting is people only bring info from subscription sites and people just take it as fact. If that happens then this place becomes Auburneagle part 2 and the homerism runs rampant. You have to have opposing views even if half the time their dumb as shite.

At least keep the bullshite out of this thread... if you wanna bitch, start a thread about it (like Luke)

Then people bitch that it belongs in the recruiting thread. Plus usually what starts the bullshite is an opinion that is posted here. You can't start a new thread responding to a specific post in the recruiting thread.

This threads been the same since the Auburn board was started. It isn't going to change.

Maybe the solution is people shouldn't bitch about recruiting, especially when no ones even signed yet... I don't know.

It would be nice to keep the crap out of this thread... I've said my piece and will move on...

Nobody really cares because he's not that good but Marshall may have passed T.J. Yeldon, Rashaan Evans, and Zeke Pike as the biggest douches we've ever recruited.

The coaches really like Marshall FWIW. Talent wise at least.

24 can just be incredibly stupid sometimes. Most people don't get grief when disagreeing with narratives from paysite, just when they start weaving some ridiculous and illogical theory not in any way supported by what we know.

For example, it is clear 24 wants to have a defense exclusively of 6ft 175LB DBs. That is the only explanation for why he thinks it is ridiculous to think Griffin wasn't a "take"
We only have 11 FR/SO Dbs on the roster next year. Hard to field a 11 man DB defense by adding only 2 CBs, especially when we already TOOK 4 CORNERBACKS LAST CYCLE.

ETA**: Not like 2 of our FR corners from last year played serious minutes.

Marshall is a different kind of sad... he's like a battered girlfriend... smart didn't want him at bama, neither did Pruitt at UGA... now all of a sudden they've switched places and he's crawling back to whoever will take him.

Guys like Marshall who flip flop and play the game have bust written all over them.

I imagine he doesn't see it this way. I bet Smart strung him along saying he is trying to fight to get him a spot and Saban just can't get the numbers to work etc etc

Now that he is calling the shots at UGA, "I always wanted you and now I'm in a position to allow it." or alternatively "I knew I was coming to UGA and didn't want to fight for you if you were at Bama"

Well I'd love to hear him give a better explanation for why we need even more CBs when we only field 2 CBs at a time. The rate that 24 suggest we recruit CBs at would make 16.5% of our roster cornerbacks

ETA**: it isn't like we are losing our key CBs soon. Davis and Dinson both were great playing significant minutes. Jamal Dean supposedly was really good during RS transfer year. That gives us 2 solid options with a promising one on top of recruits and other players

Wasn't that about S & PR Daniel Thomas? We are talking about Jordan Griffin.

Pretty sure he did but Saban vetoed it.
