Kevin Phillips has been given a scholarship

Kevin Phillips on Instagram: “"My plans were

“"My plans were changed to God's plans and God's plans are always good." Glad to announce that I've signed a scholarship for my last year at Auburn.”

I don't think the problem is Gus not wanting LBs, I think the problem is we can't get LBs.

What do you want him to do? Tell some of these WRs no so we can take more LBs who suck?

What gives you the impression that he doesn't? He hired Muschamp and gave him control. That's gives the opposite impression.

No coach is stupid enough (at this level at least) to not care about both sides of the ball.

He is probably just throwing crap against the wall to get some credit if something happens.

However I wouldn't blame a single coach from jumping ship ahead of time.

He still let's Garner coach the DL. When he moves him I'll believe he cares about defense and not just recruiting.

It was actually brought up by someone else and PM confirmed there is smoke. It's an offensive coach fwiw.

If our DLine is anything less than stellar next season RG should be moved IMO

Monty
Cowart
Lawson
Russell
Williams
Lawrence

Throw in

Marlon Davidson
Antwan Jackson
Derrick Brown
Paul James
Nick Coe

I'm hoping it's Lashlee but w/ the timing it has me worried that it's CDC.

Are you surprised? I'm sure he would have loved to stay at Auburn. Add him to the list of the defensive coaches that Gus let walk.

Gideon

He should have been given a huge raise / promotion / extention after the bowl game. I haven't seen our dbs play like they did that day in 7-8 years.

RIP

Blake Gideon
Trob
Lance Thompson

That would be mighty shitty of CDC to leave after bringing in Stove, NCM, and Kyle Davis.

I wouldn't be surprised if at least one transferred.

Where are you going to put him. McGriff has more credibility as a DB coach.

The guy is about to be a position coach under TRob/Muschamp if we waits a year or two. There was nothing we would have offered him that would have kept him outside of position coach which would be stupid
