LB Tre Threat lands inside latest ESPN 300 @ #296 and 4* on there. I know their rankings are shite but matter for signing day pub.

I'll complain about Ole Miss all I want, E. If everybody else is cheating, Ole Miss needs to be briefed on how to be just as inconspicuous as the rest of em. It's pretty obvious right now.

yep. As a recruitnik I think the Composite rankings are the most important to follow but as an overall fan the ESPN rankings are the most important because that is the channel all of the recruits will be watching and seeing Auburn as a top 10 class and getting good pub is always a good thing.

It's not like Freeze himself is the one dolling out cash, it's boosters. Just like us, Bama, LSU, UF, etc etc. The coaches have NO involvement in this other than 1 or 2 assistants that can "introduce you to a friend of ours". But the head coaches NEVER are made aware of this sort of thing so that they can have plausible deniability.

That's the thing. NCAA enforcement is a joke ever since he Miami debacle and from PR standpoint Auburn/CamNewton
They don't have power to subpoena and if there is no paper trail, who cares? You can't get caught. Even if people come forward, they won't do anything

A couple of interesting notes. We are recruiting 4* DE Prince Sammons as an OT. Plans to OV AU on Jan. 29th.
Knows Herb Hand from Penn St & Hand likes him @ OT

Also Gus had his in home w/ SDj yesterday. The coaches he brought w/ him were DC Steele, Area recruiter Garner, & LB Coach T'Will. The interrsting part was no Coach Crimedog. That leads me to believe that while we are recruiting him as an ATH the idea from the staff appears they feel he will be a LB.

Looks like Davis, Marlon, and NCM took pretty big drops.
Clayton was a huge riser as well. Would be awesome to steal him however unlikely it may be.
Stove fell off the face of the earth, not even in the top 247. He went from a top 6-7 receiver to #49. He have a terrible season or what?
