This is when I stop really paying attention and wait for signing day. The only things that matters now is a signed LOI.

Quotes from al.com so TIWFIW

4* CB Jayvaughn Meyers - 6'1 185lb
quote:

...it's not "100 percent" [him and NCM] sign with the same school Feb. 3. Still, there's a "pretty good chance," Myers said following his visit to Auburn.

Myers said he felt like he was secondary coach Wesley McGriff's top priority throughout the weekend. "I felt like he really needed me. I really like that."
"I really feel comfortable now talking to them instead of just hearing them on the phone," Myers said of Auburn. "I feel comfortable now."

Mentioned AU, UNC, Maryland. No other visits setup so far. Fav part was Madden on scoreboard. Malzahn in home 24 Jan. NSD decision.

4* WR Nate Craig-Meyers - 6'2 205lb
quote:

"Coming back up here and touching base, getting to sit down with the coaches and being able to come up on an official visit when the season's not in... you actually get one-on-one time with the coaches."
Even when I de-committed, when I came back I still felt like I was a part of the family."
"(Auburn's coaches) were basically telling me I'm on the top of the list of guys that they need," he said. "I can be one of the marquee guys who come in and play right away."

Craig-Myers believes he and early enrollee Kyle Davis could be a good "one-two punch" for Auburn if he decides to come on board. "That's my guy," Craig-Myers said when asked about Davis. "We talk a lot. He tells me to come to Auburn so we can start something."

"I want to be able to talk to anybody about about anything," he said. "The plan and situation — if I have a chance to play, compete for a job and really just how my heart feels. When I step on campus, do I really feel like I could be here?"

First time in AU in 8 months. Wanted schools to recruit him and his half brother as individuals; said his he sees his half brother is comfortable at AU now. NSD decision.

3* WR Marquis McClain - 6'2 205lb
quote:

"Definitely solid," he said of his commitment to Auburn. "I'm not going to change up. Only reason I may change up is if something major happens and that probably won't happen though."

Spent time with JF3. Loved Kentucky game. Ready to work hard, not bothered by competition.

3* LB Josh Uche - 6'2 210lb
quote:

"The whole atmosphere, I really liked it. There are some Florida players up here and they seem to enjoy it a lot."

"It's a small campus so there's not a lot of room for you to get in trouble," he said. "It's a tight-knit family."
"(Steele said) they really need a player like me on the team and that I have a chance to play early," Uche said. "He's a really genuine guy. I really like him a lot. He made sure I was taken care of and made it known I was really important to this team. His ability to coach players...I really like that."

AU coaching staff in home this week. "Probably" NSD decision.

3* ATH Stephen Davis Jr - 6'4 215lb

Called AU home. Likes family atmosphere. Academics great. Good vibe with Steele. Said visit will be tough for USCe to beat.

3* OL Lucas Niang - 6'6 295lb

quote:

One of his coaches at New Canaan is Jason Miska, who played at Auburn in the early 1990s and has helped him get a feel for life on the Plains.

"It helps a lot," Niang said. "He's my coach and he's helped me so much. Knowing that he came to Auburn too and it helped shape him into the person he is today definitely helps in my eyes."

TCU, AU, Miami third. Says TCU recruiting him hardest. Previous relationship with Hand. Life after football important.

5* DT Derrick Brown - 6'4 317lb
quote:

He visited coach Gus Malzahn's home, visited a country club and talked X's and O's with new defensive coordinator Kevin Steele for the first time.

Fellow defensive lineman David Marshall, who visited Auburn over the weekend, said he believes the Buford, Georgia native is leaning toward Mississippi State, Georgia and Auburn.

"We talked about coach Steele and we talked about Georgia a little bit," Marshall said. "I really want him to come here, especially Antwuan Jackson, Marlon (Davidson) and all them. We'd be a great group."

Academics have weighed heavily on Brown's decision process, too. He plans to major in busienss and once said Tennessee and Georgia's business schools stood out. He placed Auburn's business program in the same category following his visit this weekend.

"It was big for me [Saturday] to go talk to the business side," Brown said. "I got to talk a little bit briefly in the spring but they explained the whole nine yards with us yesterday. We got to see everything."

Brown will take official visits to Georgia and Tennessee, respectively, on the final two weekends before signing day on Feb. 3.

Garner will have an in-home visit with Brown on Wednesday and Malzahn plans to visit the lineman in his home on the final week of the recruiting period.

CT is a long way away from Auburn, but I guess TCU is as well. I always wondered what happened to Miska. I had classes with him back in the day.

bama is having a gigantic visitors weekend and I think they're having a NC parade, yada yada. I'd say it means more that he's going to be there for all that than moving his visit to us back to the final weekend.

So good news is Dwayne Haskins committed to OSU. They probably won't push for Woody Barrett now.

Steele, Garner, and Williams went to go see Clayton tonight. They're pushing to get him to take an OV to AU. Right now he's leaning towards taking it. Has a visit to UF this weekend so hopefully that doesn't change his mind. This is a guy I really want at AU
