Discussing a lack of player development for guys signed in previous classes and the relative lack of production of our current players doesn't seem to be... but whatever... carry on

The discussion is Garner's recruiting track record at Auburn. Has nothing to do with their development

You clearly have va bone to pick w/ me.

I was pointing out that many of our higher ranked (High School DE's) wind up as tweeners.

But please, continue your rustle...it is cute, if nothing else.

The constant bitching and moaning on this board over garners past is well documented... with that said, the guys done a solid job this year, especially considering the circumstances.

If you guys want to start a thread about that shite, I'm all for it... It would just be Nice to keep this thread about 2016 targets/commits.

So you agree that EVERY year the top DTs go elsewhere?

Auburn never signs any of the top DTs?

I don't really know what's going on but I will say this.

I feel 93% confident that Arden Key wouldn't have done squat here his freshman year despite being a beast at LSU.

Considering what? It's his own fault that none of the DTs outside of Adams has produced. This wasn't his first year. All the DTs on roster are his.

Funny that's the exact comparison I've made in my head that served to comfort me that we didn't get him yet made me very sad at the same time.

Considering he didn't have a fricking defensive coordinator.

Also feel like Cowwart would have thrived elsewhere as a freshman. I don't think Boom had "complete control" like he was promised.

BTW...Since we're talking about RG. Malzahn told Derrick Brown that RG would be at AU as long as he was here. So like him or not he's not going anywhere.

And that's why we won't have a pass rush or defense, no matter who the DC is, and why Gus is gone in a year or 2.

No, as usual, you are going with the black/white argument. It doesn't work that way.

CRG has led many young men to be able to take care of family. That is what 90% are looking for. Someone who can help them, help their families.

Is why I love to see all the UFA. Most of them have never had anyone in their family, make $100k. Much less the rookie minimum. It can be life changing, if they handle their business.
