Allen seems to be trending LSU.

Still leaves us shots at

EJ Price
Landon Dickerson

And the fall back

Demetri Moore

I really don't see us getting Allen.
I just don't know. It seems like he may want to get out of Louisiana. LSU has never been considered a leader til the past few weeks.

It came from him not being a priority for LSU for a long time & AU trended a good bit for about a month over the Summer when he took 2 multiday visits to AU.

AU still not interested per AU sources to Keith. Besides, he signed w/ Va. Tech today. His recruitment is over.

I think we get D Brown and EJ Price.
Davis Marshall might as well be off the commit list.

I just checked out some position rankings for inside linebacker. I feel like we're doing alright at OLB depth wise but we're missing a thumper.

Is S Quartermann still solid to the U? Why didn't we ever pursue Erroll Thompson from Florence?

For OLB, was Rahshaun Smith only interested in AU for Muschamp and ship sailed?

Rahshaun Smith was never seriously considering AU.

I know they were reporting interest from him for awhile but they always do that with a few guys that we never hear from again

Errol Thompson is not a thumper. I watched him play twice this year and thought he was soft both times.

He OVed & had interest, Just couldn't pass Clemson & LSU. Also gotta remember you jump back into recruiting fairly late & miss things that go on before the football season started.

Hopefully Stephen Davis Jr. will get back on board if our new DC shows interest.

I just don't see Brown going anywhere other than UGA unless Kirby does something really stupid. He's going to give him every chance to sell him on UGA and if Kirby is half the recruiter he's reported to be I think he'll seal the deal. Would LOVE to be wrong though.

Brown is more concerned with his position coach and being comfortable than his HC or DC.

We'll see and I hope you're right I just get the vibe UGA is going to have to really screw it up not to get him. If they do though it seems we would be the obvious beneficiary.

So pretty much all the ones that were expected to commit to Auburn have already done so and the ones left we still have to work for, correct?

I'm guessing we don't know who could be our next commit?

Also, read this from seccountry... Interesting strategy to avoid FAA's but still reap the benefits. LINK

Depends on who UGA hires as DL Coach. He's already come out and said that he has the best relationship with Garner and he likes AU as well.

That's great that he likes AU and Rodney he's still a strong UGA lean unless they blow it.

Still no clue why we wouldn't take a chance on an athlete like that with more spots than truly quality players wanting to fill them.

A lot of folks on this board gripe about some of the athletes on our roster without a true fit. Especially the few guys that play different positions than they did in high school and whatnot.

I think he's a fine athlete but we don't seem to develop athletes incredibly well to new positions and my fear is that he would be wasted on our roster
