take a look at the USCe board recruiting thread it is pretty obvious that Muschamp and Trob are contacting most of our D recruits. That should tell you how devoid of talent the state of South Carolina is.

Or maybe TRob/Muschamp actually liked some of the D recruits they scouted and developed relationships with at Auburn

Or that instate rival Clemson is in CFP/#1 and a new coaching staff with few ties 2016 recruits doesn't have a ton of time to make up ground

You know, logic and stuff

So do we get Stephen Davis Jr now that Muschamp is gone?

AUC notes.

- Garner & Lance to see Gary tomorrow & Derrick Brown on Thursday
-Brown will remain a major priority no matter who the new DC is

-AU will fight to keep James no matter who the new DC is
-Some @ AU have concerns about Jamarcus King's physicality
-Keir Thomas has not heard from AU since Boom & TRob left, could be telling
- AU pursuit of JK & KT depend on new DC

-Ahmmon Richards shaping to be an AU, Bama, Miami battle
-Early PT will be a major factor

-Woody B solid to AU
-tOSU lurking

-Staff told Rice to expect to fight for starting TE spot this Spring
-was 1 of the best in line blockers in high school this year

The answer to most questions right now including this one, depends on the new DC.

For those wondering Kyle Davis dropped to 109 on Rivals. He needs a combined 8 spot jump on 247, ESPN, &/or Scout to get his composite 5th star back.

"Davis is still one of the country's top wide receivers, but he struggled with the extra attention he received from defenses during his senior year. The Auburn commit is a big target and will still haven't plenty of success in college, but we think he's better suited to be ranked in this range." -- Wommack

GOOD NEWS: South Carolina and its new head coach Will Muschamp courted 4-star Auburn defensive end commit Paul James. But the touted recruit from Copiah-Lincoln Community College (Ms.) told JC Shurburtt of The Big Spur on Tuesday he is sticking with the Tigers.

"I heard from South Carolina, but I turned them down," James said.

Craig probably not on good terms with Muschamp and TRob's departure if I had to guess

Within 10 days of being hired, TRob got longtime Texas commit Tim Irvin to visit and enroll at AU, a school he'd never visited.

Maybe they are trying to break their 10 day record

Yeah. Isn't it tougher for most players when they are at least double teamed?

That was my initial thought but the Bunker seems to think it's about James turning USC down.

Now that Bobby Bentley is the RB coach at USCe.... I wonder if his son Jake moves back to SC or plays his senior year at opelika? I'm guessing he stays in AL...

Not sure if we'll be in consideration to sign him or not.
