Too many unknowns. Could have an effect but they could also make a splash hire

Or a position coach they already know & are comfortable with. That combined with being the home state could keep them in Georgia.

Highly unlikely. He said no to AU 2 years ago. Word around him and the AD is he's not coming back even if UGA let him go. Hypothetically assuming we let go or move Garner for the sake of this discussion, AU would not be the only program needing a DL Coach. If he is set on not coming back to AU as sources have suggested for 2 years now, he will land nicely somewhere else.

Now that peopple brought it up, Rocker seemed really intent on keeping his kids in the same place through graduation

Why aren't we taking any pass rushers? Seems like everybody we have and the top guys on our board are all SDE and DT.

Have our coaches watched our defense play this year? WTF

We have 4 "pass rusher" guys we are targeting: Paul James III, Keir Thomas, Jonathan Kongbo and commit Daquan Newkirk

The following guys have solid pass rush skillsets but lack in other areas

Rasheed Kennion: Can't play vs run
Jeff Holland: I think he is just stupid
Prince Tega: Health + May not know what a football is
Byron Cowart: Weight issues/Freshman

James seems like he has issues. I won't count my chickens with him until he's on the field producing.

Take them. I'll count the nuggets. With my mouth. As I eat them.

What about the project kid from Mobile? Wasn't he supposed to be a pass rusher when he gained some weight?

Thornton?

Still hasn't gained the weight. Appendix surgery apparently set him back

Johnathan Kongbo has been rated a 96 with 4 stars. The new no. 1 JUCO player

Hard to say who the favorites are. OM seems to be a slight front runner

Quitting school 2 weeks before the season doesn't seem indicative of a problem to you? All the Illinois people say he was never able to figure it out off the field. So either he can't hack it in the classroom or he's a thug. Either way, not good.

To add here, he is a priority for AU. We are trying to get 1 of his last 4 OVs. He's a guy that if we can get him then a guy like Nick Coe becomes a nontake. For those wondering a 96 is a very high 4* grade on 247.
