Muschamp/T-Rob are the ones holding D recruiting together. And, when all is said, and done, it will look like someone knows WTF they are doing vs. what we have endured the past 3+ years.

I look for a move to be made w/ one Coach Garner ASAP.

Garner isn't likely to be let go, just re-assigned. TE would be my guess.

Something has to go down on the O side as well. My prediction has been posted previously.

Why would you know this?

We just offered a JUCO QB...and its probably not the one everyone was hoping for.

John Franklin III. The kid that transferred out of FSU.

Our chances are better #1, plus he is a faster version of Nick. SIX TD's in less than one half? (Five rushing)

Our chances are better? That would have no bearing on us offering Franklin right now.

Evans has almost no offers and has said he likes the Newton/Marshall angle we would be able to pitch him. Maybe the chances are slightly better with Franklin but if we liked Evans more than Franklin than we would be going after Evans. It's not like Evans would be a long shot.

We also just had a future walk on kick a 61 yd FG

Apparently it was on some free kick rule that I've never heard of though. There was no holder or rush on him.

The rule is if you fair catch a punt with time on the clock the receiving team can choose to have a free kick similar to a kickoff where the kicker can have a running start and no one can rush him. 61 yds with a running start is not = to one without, but its still impressive.

If you're not expecting a top 15 class then no.

Also, how much is the, "fire rodney garner" talk impacting D-line recruiting?
IMO it hasn't. He's recruited and developed poorly on his own. Hell, the fire RG stuff may actually help. lol

In Alabama High School football if you fair catch a punt you can free kick it for 3 points on the next play. It wasn't that impressive. He took a run at just like it was a kick off.

There must be a reason for this that has nothing to do with talent.

Which would be?

He went to Air Force so I'm assuming he's smart enough to qualify. No character issues that I know of (granted I don't know much about him). My guess is the coaches don't think he's as talented as everyone here makes him out to be.

Must JUCO QBs don't get offered in the middle of the year. You are essentially telling your starting QB "We don't have long term faith." Evans hasn't taken any OVs and most schools sait to see how a QB fits in before tbey offer a leadership position

The Franklin kid is athletic enough to be considered a Jason Smith type "athlete"

Jay Tate basically said Evans likely won't have an offer until around the Iron bowl of he gets one

That makes sense besides the fact that we just offered a guy.

Are you saying we'll use Fanklin as a WR?
