4* Safety Nigel Warrior says AU is moving up his list. Recently we weren't in his top 5 but thanks largely in part to TRob we're moving up.

Still a long shot with this one. Good to see Trob doing work though.

Bush Jr's Hudl

Hudl has him listed as 6' and 247 has him at 5'11". He looks big on tape. No way he's 5'8" and smoking OL like that.

I'd argue that Sean White as a soph is a better situation than Eason as a frosh for 3 years for a WR.

You won't need to argue it one way or the other, Sean will have 6 more games to prove it.

He's gonna have to play very well though because being the #1 QB in a class comes with a lot of hype and is generally a huge recruiting tool.

The fact Davis hasn't committed to UGA already does seem to me like he's trying to give AU every chance to prove he can succeed here.

Jeff Lee says he'll be surprised if JUCO OT Demetri Moore doesn't sign with AU.

4* DT and UGA commit Tyler Clark's recruitment may not be over. He continues to show interest in AU and will OV this fall.

AU has made 3* Dae Jachai Polite a priority. We're in his top 4 with UF, Miami, and USCe.

AU is making moves with 3* Texas CB Eric Cuffee. He has AU in his top 5. He wants to visit but it will likely be later in the year.

2 JUCO guys that AU would take commitments from right now are Jonathan Kongbo and Tryell Chavis. Chavis is be big 6-6 DT mentioned a few pages back. Kongbo is a 6-6 260lb DE being courted by nearly every P5 school. He was born in the Congo later moved to Canada. He's also teammates with former 5* LB and LSU signed Clifton Garrett. Garrett liked UF and Muschamp a lit in highschool. AU is in the research stage right now looking into his background. If everything checks out expect us to pursue.

AU is in great shape to flip 3* UK Cb commit Jordan Griffin. Jeff Lee would be surprised if we don't flip him.

You're sounding like AuburnEagle.

Let him do what he wants. Don't like it, don't read it.

Your contribution to the last 3 pages has been stellar! I take back the weiner comment. And confess to being quite the prick, from time to time.

Randy, you have made progress yourself. And I hope you will continue to strive to provide feedback that while it may be questioning, it isn't simply a repetitive wash/rinse/repeat of negativity. I certainly applaud your efforts that last couple of pages, but ALWAYS REMEMBER, E doesn't get sarcasm.

My work is done here.

Go...In peace.

Randy must have passed the torch to Lanier.

The "it's Friday evening and I'm drinking" thread starter is about to start cutting.

Like that name, sign him up.

Sign both those JUCO DL. At this point we need bodies. Time to process either Swain or Lawrence.

No thanks on Garrett if what LSU posters said is true. He is one of those looks like Tarzan plays life Jane types.

And as always Fire RG.

Are we recruiting any Samoans? We really need to get some Somoans in the trenches. Those guys channel all their pent up Morman frustrations onto the football field

Also, I feel like this recruiting cycle is our feb 2012 for us. We can't afford to miss on the top guys and land a bunch of also rans. We need to make a statement or Gus is likely out at the end of 2016.

I said all of that to say, I'm thinking of jumping back into the recruiting cesspool and want to know if I'm setting myself up for soul crushing disappointment?

We signed a JUCO Samoan OL in 2010. He never made it on campus and ended up at Washington State or something I think

It's never to late to try again

Also, how much is the, "fire rodney garner" talk impacting D-line recruiting?

The continual coaching changes have had the greatest impact on our recruiting IMO. Even when there were no staff changes, the constant chatter likely lost us guys we really needed.
