I wonder if our defense turns it around and becomes at least solid/respectable if we recruit better.

It would clearly show Muschamp coming into a dumpster fire and starting to turn it around using young guys.

I will take him, and bring all the receivers with him.

We don't mind taking 2-3 QBs a year, but have a hard limit of one on DLineman.

When's the last time we took 2-3 qbs a year?

The last time we did was 2013 when we took Marshall and Johnson

Walvenski Aime.

I would say it's laughable at this point but I guess it's well past that.

Per KN:

- 5* DE Marlon Davidson now "about 75%" committed to Auburn.

- 4* DE Antonneous Clayton released top 5 of 1. UF 2. AU 3. Tenner 4. FSU 5. OU. On AU
quote:

Two weeks ago, Clayton gave conflicting info about his recruitment regarding Auburn. On Sept. 25, he told AuburnUndercover he talked to Auburn defensive coordinator Will Muschamp more than any other coach. But, two days later, he told Gatorbait.net, " I was feeling Auburn, but you know I’m not saying they’re losing love, but ever since they got that [defensive] end Marlon Davidson committed, they stopped hitting me up. Only like one person hits me up from Auburn and that’s Scott Fountain. It was Will Muschamp a lot, but it’s not anymore. As far I’m concerned I’m only concerned about Florida right now.”

- 3* JUCO OT Demetri Moore nearly committed to Auburn after his visit this past weekend. Says he will visit for more games.

- Offered 3* JUCO DT Walvenski Aime of Fort Scott Community College in Kansas. 6-foot-5, 295 pounds.

- Haven't seen it posted but both 247 and ESPN said #2 Overall 5* OT Greg Little's visit to Auburn 2 weeks was outstanding and we will probably make his top group of teams.

Good to see that we are continuing to only recruit one DE per class. Good thing this time it is a SDE who should be playing DT aka Lambert 2.0

Can't wait for the inevitable malady that hits Davidson/Our Prize DE and then we complain about no pass rush because didn't recruit more than 1 player there

If those quotes are legit we might as well just go ahead and fire everybody right now. These guys have completely lost it.

I am not saying Tubs was the end all coach. But I remember him saying you win in the SEC with lineman. Seems like we would focus on that group, then bring in solid 3* type players and develop them. I don't see how that has changed. Recruit all of them. Take lineman and less WRers. We don't use them anyway.

Read this on another board...

Our next two commitments could come from Walvenski Aime and Demetri Moore. Neither player was ranked coming out of high school and between the 2 they have 3 SEC offers.
Auburn, Miss State, Kentucky.

Not to mention the other two stars we have committed.

I better start decorating my paper bags of shame again.

We can't convince kids to come here anymore because other coaches show them how underdeveloped they will be.

I bet Marlon flips this year, but I bet it is to UGA rather than Bama.

Why don't we just hire Jimmy Brumbaugh? Guy has coached up players at most stops, doing well at Kentucky of all places and seems to be a great recruiter especially of JUCOs.

Considering how much Auburn loves to hire an "Auburn Man" instead of high quality coaches, seems weird we don't have people calling for a guy who actually is talented

Why don't we have any diehard Auburn fans anymore? The ones who weren't scared of the bammers at the water cooler. Weren't trying their best to make the most negative, hyperbolic statement possible, about the team they claim to cheer for?

Fans who would slap a b**** for talking down their team. How did it come to pass, that men who claim AU sound like defeated, beaten down, little girls.

What rock were they under, and can we see about replacing it?

You're right, recognizing the painfully obvious fact that our football program is crumbling into shambles means we aren't die hard and are scared of bammers at the water cooler.

I'm glad you're enjoying your fantasyland though. Tell us please which 5* locks to other schools will soon be on their way to help us out?

Well, forget about that JUCO DT I posted a few posts up.

@walvenskiaime has committed to Florida State.
— Josh Edwards (@JEdwar247) October 6, 2015

Per KN: 2017 Commit 5* OT Calvin Ashley may visit FSU, our competitor for him, this weekend according to his twitter. He has not been to an Auburn game yet. He did post a pro-Auburn tweet last Sunday. Will be a battle until he signs a long ways from now.

Hopefully in the next two months we get some playing-time hungry defensive recruits in the house and link up with Muschamp like Rahshaun Smith and Shavar Manual and Gary on their OVs.
