Thornton was highly rated for his athleticism but still a project due to weight. Both were like 215-225 coming in when they need to be 245-255+ so the project is weight gain

Yeah then he had surgery last year I think he had his appendix or something removed. PM says he's still a ways away.

Honestly how much worse could he be than President or Lawrence?

Nothing sadder than seeing Lawrence in the backfield yesterday with a chance at a negative play and Harris just run around him because he is slow.

It also showed we lack the ability to develop players.

who is "we"? Muschamp has only been here for 3 games. Pump the brakes on HIS development. He's always been great at developing guys.

Garner for starters. None of the Defensive players have improved since the new coaches arrived. Something isn't working. It's either coaching, play calling, or players lacking talent. Alot of people were wrong if we lack talent.

Frost was a 5* athlete. Not a LBer. Our D recruiting has been on par with the lower end SEC schools, and it shows. We have had highly ranked classes due to O recruits. Then we allow people like Kown Alexander (sp?) to leave the state, or Bama offer a guy we need, to only let him set on the bench for 4 years. That's why we suck. Teams that recruit 2-3* talent never win. This has been proven over and over.

I'd say Monty has definitely improved from last year.

Monty is just a matter of finally playing hard. Our D-Line is awful when it comes to fundamentals. There are D lines of 2 and three stars that constantly outperform our line of 4 and 5 stars.

HUH? Garner has been fine. Our DL has been fine. Monty is leaps and bounds better this year. Dontavius Russell looks like a player so far. Heck Lawson is a beast but he can't stay off the training table.

I just don't see it. Our DL has been a weak spot on this team.

If I have to watch Lambert crash and not have outside contain again I'll punch a baby. That's on Garner

Dline sucks dick

LF wasn't touched behind the LOS Saturday and want touched until 5 yards down field on 8 of his runs.

Monty is great but isn't being utilized well in run situation.

I can't decide if the DL or LBs are to blame. I know that the ends have struggled with edge contain, but we are also missing Lawson there. I think the DTs are definitely above average for SEC talent. But when LBs aren't there to fill the gaps we get gashed. I think we really are missing stud LBs and from preseason Muschamp pressers I think he thinks the same. But I'm just a fan so what do I know.

When you get run for 400+ by a team that can't throw the ball and was not even trying the last quarter everyone is to blame.

yeah its gone. They put up some other monstrosity of a site for a while, but it wasn't anything near as good as TheRinger was. Damnit I miss that chat feature. Literally spent half of my work days on that site.

I actually still talk to KML, Jr, and some of the UF and Miami guys.

It's been posted in several threads... not sure where to tell you to look honestly. Dual threat guy - transferred out in January when they brought in Golson.

Kind of a Nick Marshall type player in terms of athletic ability and accuracy. He's visiting for San Jose and Alabama is also talking to him.
