Thanks for everything E. Maybe you can put on your resume that you were TD Auburn recruiting extraordinaire!
I have one question: What does "learn to drive through a special disability program" mean?
PS-Good luck finding that special sweet southern girl.

Cap is totally right though.
I usually am. Except for the Mason thing (was still correct about the numbers), have never been more glad to be incorrect.
Was going to bump that thread, So y'all can bask in the glory of that one time I was wrong.

Only after you change the content of what you originally said because you know no one is going to hunt it down to link.
You do make some cogent remarks and solid opinions at times though. Usually two to three times in a row too.

E has CP. I'm assuming it limits his driving capabilities..so he is finding a program to teach him how to drive with his disability. I say this because I have CP as well.

Garrett Bolles set his official visit for UGA weekend (November 13th & 14th).
quote:
"Auburn is a special place," Bolles said. "It has a special place in my heart. I'm just excited and grateful for the opportunity to go back because I really like it at Auburn. I'm getting married in December and they have been very welcoming to my fiancé. That's very important to me.
"I'm just excited to go back and see the guys that I hung out with before, get to talk to more people about the academics and everything like that."
Bolles, 6-foot-6 and 305 pounds, also has official visits set to Oregon (Nov. 20-22) and Arkansas (Nov. 26-28). One to Georgia also is in the works, but a date has not been set.
Bolles isn't in a rush to make a commitment.
"I will probably make my decision after my visits, maybe sometime in January," Bolles said. "I haven't really set a time, but it will probably be either late this year or early next year."

Per KN it's a toss up between tOSU and Auburn for Antwan Jackson. Per Jackson's mom he's pushed his commitment date back. He really likes Buckeyes staff and Meyer is working overtime on Jackson per Keith.

Do our coaches work overtime on anybody?

Nope, our coaches hate recruiting.

It's just funny everytime we start to lose a grip on someone it's always "insert staff" has really made him a priority or when we lose someone it's always "we have guys higher on our board".
Who are these mystery guys that we are spending all of our energy on while all of the top prospects we are after are committing to other schools?

I definitely believe there are times where we have options 2 or 3 on our board that our staff are fine taking if we miss out on #1.
For example, we missed on Evan Boehm and ended up with Alex Kozan instead.
Most of the misses though is because a kid chose another school. If a kid is at any point a "take" and goes elsewhere, he was a miss

It's just astounding how many big time prospects we have led for at one point in this cycle that look like we are going to let get away.

We need a big season. Other schools are calling 2013 a fluke and that Boom is here for one year.
One example might be KD.
A program's history of producing NFL receivers will play a role, but it's not ultra-important, according to Davis.
"Yeah, it's important, but I like to be different from everyone," Davis said. "I don't like to go to the norm. I want to create a name for myself."
Of the receivers currently produced by -- and at -- one of his top three schools, two stand out, Davis noted.
"Probably Sammie Coates and Duke Williams (of Auburn)," Davis said.

It's fricking August.... This time last year Byron Cowart seemed like a pipe dream & no one had heard of Jeremiah Dinson or really talked about Prince Tega. If come January we are sitting in this position then bitch away. Until then it is pointless to panic. Not saying you can't be disappointed or to blindly "trust the coaches" but the constant bitching gets old especially when Gus has proven he can land top 10 classes and we aren't even close to signing day
