Bet we still finish with a top 15 class, who gives a damn where we are in July.

We've had top 10 classes since 2009 and it has amounted to a roller coaster of results. We're on track for another and you act like our recruiting is suddenly on pace with Arkansas. It's fine if you don't follow recruiting but don't show up here with your naive outrage when your head is in the sand for 99% of the year.

Is it possible I'm trolling and speaking the truth at the same time?

I don't care which one it is. It's isn't 2010 when people actually cared what you thought. You and a hundred other Auburn posters here don't follow recruiting all year like several of us do and you only show up when its NSD or when we accept the commitment of a 2*-3*.

I'm concerned about our OT and DT recruiting this year and last, but freaking out over a 2 star WR recruit is just silly. We'll be right around the top 10 per usual this year, just need to make sure we are hitting our big spots of need.

Interesting. I thought we were pretty high on Marlon Character

DT is my only area of concern with this class.

Defense in general. A lot depends on the product we place on the field this season.

I can sense your recruiting frustration. Must suck to follow this crap year round. You and Ellitor are weird dudes.

South Carolina on a roll this week. Think Spurrier's speech was a rally the troops moment?

They had said the CDC was all over that WR and loved him yesterday. Obviously they saw something they liked since the kid walked out of the complex and Gus went out of his way to get him back inside to see where we stood with him. He ran a 4.49 40, 38 vert and caught every ball thrown to him... 6 2" 205 I'll take him

What makes you think I dont follow recruiting. I dont get on here and discuss who took a shite and lost 3 pounds every week but I do follow it. But some of you are funny how you hate to admit anything about that is not always positive.
We are certainly not keeping up (right now) with the other programs in the SEC. I fully understand that its not over till February and we usually pull some good tricks at the end. But most of the other top SEC programs are pulling in the top recruits right now and we are not. YET
We are behind. Thats all I said. And if you dont believe that, you are a bigger fool that I thought.
We are behind what other programs have. At this point
Now get over it and go check someones nut size

Early recruiting is not the time to judge. Many of the Big Dogs that Auburn gets walk late. Cowart, etc. That said, D-line is a priority, but I am willing to wait to February.
Team reports in a week. Ready for some football.

You think you know more than you know, and I'll leave it at that. At least you're not a clown like the other one

I understand what you are saying because it is something I have seen for years and have also seen the other side of what you are saying for years. In general this is auburn recruiting year in and year out. It's interesting to see how many Aubies struggle with the fact Auburn will never recruit like Bama, UGA, LSU, FSU, tOSU, etc.
Now we may end up with a strong class, but we hardly look smooth and pretty making it there. This is how it will forever be and yet our fans expect it to be blowing the doors off and it just isn't so. Anyone including myself thought things will be different because we won a natty and/or the SEC. Yet it hardly materialized into this great signing frenzy. No doubt we received greater exposure and more visits from highly touted recruits, but few commitments mid recruiting season.
We end up with top solid classes, but nothing flashy, no 4-6 5 star recruits committed for a year, no 7-9 high four stars being Auburn all the way. Just the same solid recruiting with some big grabs at the end.
Yet here we are having the same arguments, the same poisbarners vs the same negatigers. Y'all have fun with that, I will help stir the pot from time to time and wait for signing day.
