We just became the first major offer for Florida OL Parker Braun (listed 6'4 272). I'm not sure that he has the height/length to play tackle; but the kid looks like he can really move down field.

Would it seem "early" if he was ranked a bit higher unanimously? I think what you're going to see is that he's a bit underrated on the sites and will rise in the spring/summer. Rivals already bumped him up to 5th nationally.
Besides; other targets committing elsewhere likely helped pin him as the top target for now. Feaster to Clemson and Walker to OSU are two examples. We also offered Miles Sanders who committed to Penn State.

I'm with you there. It seems early to us because he isn't ranked as high as you would think our top target would be. But if the coaches are pegging him this early it means they really like him and I'm sure Gus knows exactly what he wants on the offensive side.
