Is there someone waiting in the wings at Apopka that the staff is after. I know Ivey and Cox were from there. I ask because it seems early to accept a 2*.

WM may like him for a NT in a 3 man front. Saban signs lower rated players for the position if they have certain characteristics all the time.

Considering the staff was recruiting 2 players off that Apopka team last year they've seen 2 years of game film on him and it's likely that they know Manning's stock is rising. This is also evident by the fact that he didn't commit.
I'm not trying to posibarner all over the place here. He's not going to jump into the top 250 or anything but this recruit won't be a 2* for very long.
