Classy move, imo...

Are we in the running at all for Trenton Thompson? He is seems to be a solid commit for Georgia, was just curious as to if we had an outside shot at him

It'd be one thing for his high school coach or if he was committed to a school and that coach came, but it wreaks of trying to get an upper hand in recruiting to me. Just seems a little over the line.

If I was in the situation I would want my space. But I could also see how someone would appreciate a coach coming by to check on them.

Hugh is a sincere guy, definitely one of a handful of coaches I'd want to visit me in a hospital if I were in Prince's situation.

I'm cool with it. Doesn't seem out of bounds in my opinion.

No. Last weekend was the parting of ways between AU and Trent. I would be surprised at this point if one side calls the other at all here on out.

This.

It comes down to how much you respect the coach doing it.

I know I'm making assumptions about a guy I don't really know personally, but I respect Hugh and think it's a thoughtful gesture.

He's a fake nice guy, guaranteed. Thats why he's so good at recruiting.

I don't think there's anyway for us to know either way. Seems genuine to me from things I've seen on him though.

This is a guy that was going to become a preacher prior to jumping into "coaching". I've always gotten the impression from him that he's a guy who knows how to use his speech to create an aura of likability. I don't buy it; guys who are that good at recruiting are almost always manipulators.

I don't buy for a second that Hugh went to the hospital out of only good will. If prince was still class of 2016, I guarantee that Hugh wouldn't have been at the hospital.

Exactly. If he was supposed to have an in home visit and Wonogho said to come to the hospital, ok, that's fine. I just don't think any coach should show up at a kid's surgery like that. Give him a few days at the very least.

If he was invited, that's another story.
