I never have understood this hate either. I don't feel that AU fans have that hatred for Georgia that UGA fans do for AU. The only ones I do are the ones around UGA fans who are doing it in reaction to their childlike behavior

I think it's easy to understand
they believe they're entitled to a championship and when their rival passed them up in one season (2010) and won a championship, they got pissy
then when we went to another after 3-9, they got super pissy because once again they realize that if they had new coaching they might be able to go to a championship as well...but they're content with Richt

2010 changed it with Fairley and the Natty, we were kinda in the same boat they are now in the big six. Then AU got two SEC championships and two BCS appearances.. it`s jealousy of a friendly rival that got to where they can`t.
