Anyone else feel like Godwin is just sorta manufacturing drama for NSD?... dudes been committed to UGA for months... Slayton may be a difference story.

No. Auburn's staff has always thought the Godwin recruitment would come down to the end. His mom seems to love Auburn. I do think he ends up sticking though

Assuming he's not blatantly being deceitful in his recruiting, Auburn.

I think there's a chance Holland, CeCe, and Cowart all go to Florida, though. I just don't think they'd put on this show and hurt Florida's recruiting in the meantime just to surprise-commit there on NSD. But kids are shitty so you can't count that out

Speaking of Godwin, you jack legs need to simmer down. It's a tough decision for these youngsters, it ain't no, well, what his mamma said.....

quote:

I told Auburn as well as Georgia, its Terry's decision based on everything he's heard and seen. Everybody is making everything look like it's a bowl of candy, it's a tough decision."

Was told this morning that the Staff still feels good about Cowart, FWIW.

What is the Josh Hemholdt guy's deal? He was the only guy to not give a single vote for AU on a kid other than Carlton Davis.

He seems bitter about something

I don't listen to "[I] Was told [by unnamed sources because I'm an insider] that..." anymore.

No offense, or anything.

I wonder what happens with Fountain?

Anyone think he gets a nice off-field spot for next year, and we get someone else to handle ST?

So AuburnCPA will enjoy this:

quote:

A very trusted and knowledgable source at Auburn told me Dee reached out to Auburn through a 3rd party about the possibility of transferring last fall. It was a player (not named) currently on the roster. My source tells me Auburn DL coach Rodney Garner told the 3rd party, "no thanks." Will that change with Will Muschamp now running the defense? Never say never -- but again, Garner apparently was adamant that he didn't want him.

Liner will never play a meaningful down of major college football... no sense in even wasting breath discussing it.

not bad

I hope Key sticks with USC, Lewis goes to one of the Miss schools, and we get Tega. LSU fans will melt hard on that one.
