Question for the students on the board. Keith mentioned the rec center is a positive recruiting tool for the recruits on OVs and said they are touring it now. My question is why is the rec center a positive tool? I figured the athletes had their own great weight room and the wellness kitchen so I am missing where the rec center is a positive tool.

All the gorgeous girls around the place and a bunch of nice basketball courts they can use.

Have you not been in there? If you've been in there you would know why. There's a ton of shite to do in there.
Rock Climbing, pools, basketball courts, pretty much whatever you'd want.

Athletes love playing basketball there and generally hang out there a lot. Cool place to go hang out since it is so nice

They come up and hoop at the rec all the time. It's too impressive not to show off to the recruits. Big tool to pump up how AU isn't afraid to spend money to give AU students the best experience possible

We have brand new South Donahue dorms, brand new food complex, brand new Rec all next to the AD.

and they have forever. I grew up with Franklin Williams and when I went to Auburn, he was a Junior up there still so I knew a lot of the basketball team. I used to play pick up games with a lot of the football guys during basketball season and all of the basketball team played up there during football season.
The Rec was always an awesome hangout place to meet a lot of people.

Unless you want to lift weights or generally do gym activities. Then it sucks unless you are a girl trying to go on an elliptical a week before spring break because you think you can lose the frehsman 15 in 5 days
