I think that is going to happen. Just a hunch.

Dude, this is just what AU does. Accept it like AU being shitty at FTs, Auburn losing to crap teams like TAMU in FB and fans saying "It's great to be an Auburn Tiger"when we lose.
Oh boy, this is a great start for all the bitches melting down. One tweet is all it took.

They have like 18 spots to fill. Means nothing.

I hope, pray, wish, that we get Cowart. He is the class.

Those Creed Monsters love to accept mediocrity. It's also the same twat bags that also spew :
Trust the coaches
We lost x recruit because the other school paid him or his family
I wouldn't trade Jake Holland for 10 CJ Mosleys
I only want kids that want to be here
We should hire x because they are an Auburn man

When it comes down to it, it's easy to forget everyone wants the best for Auburn. Remember that one thing if you take anything away from this post.

Me too. I don't think the GG Robinson offer has anything to do with Cowart either. The most likely scenario is Beckner eliminated us, and we have get a DT in this class and he is likely to commit once he's a take.
This class will likely be top 10, but if it's going to suck if we don't get an elite DE in it.

Said multiple times before the 2013 season on a few ITAT threads like "who would you trade for on another SEC team." I said Holland for Moseley and of course was gutted for it and called a bammer.

Of course it's true, but it's so obvious, why post it constantly. Nobody ever says, "I love that we got Carnell Williams even though he hates everything about our school." I guess what I am trying to say is that it irritates me when it's thrown out there every time we lose a recruiting battle.

No, everyone wants the best for what they think Auburn should be and that's not always what's best for Auburn University.

I agree. If it is true that it is between just us and UF for Cowart, that is tremendous for the good guys.

Lambert never played a down of SEC football until last fall so why would we assume he was a solid pass rusher?Rashaan Evans had never played a down of SEC football until last fall so why would we assume he was a solid pass rusher?
I don't know, I never brought up Rashaan Evans.. so I guess you can answer that? Given that Rashaan has athletic abilities far superior than Lamberts, its not farfetched to think Rashaan could become a stud pass rusher.

You entered an argument about whether we put all our eggs in Rashaan Evans' basket last year
Rashaan Evans is definitely going to be a stud pass rusher. That wasn't the point

I entered the argument when you said the staff assumed Lambert would be a solid pass rusher along with Lawson and Garrett. I quoted exactly that. I didn't say anything about Rashaan.

Exactly.
When you're recruiting for a need of your team, you evaluate what guys you think would fill that need. The staff evaluated Lambert and thought he was a good pass rusher like everybody else. That means we filled our immediate need for a pass rusher since we also have Lawson and Garrett. We filled the need our longer term need for a pass rusher with undersized guys like Thornton, Kennion, etc.

Ah, Braden Smith. I am ready to see that hebrew knock some heads off next year after being in our SC program for a full season and off season.
