I don't think the substance from what Bama fans relay is necessarily wrong, just their presentation and interpretation.

It is more their need to submit to the idea that they get who Saban wants and he is the best at evaluating. That whole "Trust the coaches" mantra we heard when Chizik was dumping lighter fluid in the dumpster was very similar
